There’s a blessing in the Storm!!

Picked up Danielle LaPortesexcellent White Hot Truth for a read last night: Here’s the link. Flipped open on the chapter about discernment. As I am also reading Gabrielle Bernstein’s Judgement Detox I like her definition that Being discerning is not the same as being judgemental. Discernment is big-minded and awake. Judgement is narrow-minded and in the dark. Discernment is our wisdom coming to life.

The main area I use my discernment is in my quest to have Interculturalism – Love and Respect for All: Everyone included spread across the planet. If people make a xenophobic statement about another culture I immediately ask them, have you ever met a member of that race. You would be surprised how often the answer is no. Mainstream media has a lot to answer for in this area.

So where do you use discernment and where has the world commented on it:

discern1

1. Don’t base you reality on what is pushed at us from media empires whose purpose is to make a profit not necessarily report the facts.

discern2

2. This must be a famous quote because there were so many versions of it. Charles Spurgeon was known as the Prince of Preachers in the 19th century. A bit in your face: Your Soul.

discern3

3. Love the power of Maya’s words. Now there is someone who had the ability to discern instead of judging.

discern4

4. Gold weighs more, so will your relationships: Gold.

discern5

5. I have 50+ Invitations on my Facebook Page today, I will have to be very discerning with my choices.

discern6

6. It also takes courage, that’s because it is much easier to judge and not do anything about said judgement: Brave.

discern7

7. I’m Jealous. Mel Lawrence (May 17, 1935 – November 5, 2016) was a film director and producer and former concert and festival promoter. He is best known for his role as the Director of Operations at the Woodstock Festival, his work on the Qatsi Trilogy, and for directing and producing the Emmy-nominated documentary Paha Sapa: The Struggle for the Black Hills.

discern8

8. It’s interesting how discernment seems to be tied up with Christain values. One would think that form of belief would take it out of the picture: We Believe.

discern9

9. A great list as to what values your discernment could be made up of.

discern10

10. In 2000, she was named one of the “100 most influential Black Americans” by Ebony magazine, which said that “Her books, lectures and television appearances have made her a multimedia high priestess of healthy relationships.: Human.

discern11

11. That’s why self-love is so important, it empowers you to the people you will have around you.

discern12

12. You know when it’s happening, bunker up: Killing In The Name Of.

discern13

13. Discernment knows when to act and to intercede.

discern14

14. But if the truth is an aspiration, then discernment is a heroine: Discernment.

discern15

15. The place that will tell you many things, 24 hours a day sometimes, the mind. A lot of them are untrue. let’s practice listening to the spirit contained in our heart.

Discernment looks at several details and then balances these facts against what we believe. Not easily moved but can still be flexible. Without discernment, any snake oil salesman would love you as a target.

Not much pop in the music this week, just Sara Bareilles. An old classic from Spandau Ballet and my favourite rock anthem, guess which one.

Namaste until next time, my dear friends.

Be brave with your Life!!

Just received Brendon Burchard’s new free book, High-Performance Habits – you actually pay the postage and handling in the mail and the premise of it is six habits, three personal and three social. The personal ones are Seek Clarity, Generate Energy, and Raise Necessity. The Social Ones are Increase Productivity, Develop Influence and Demonstrate Courage.

As Mark Twain relates ” Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear.” When we first do something that contains fear, such as skydiving, the level of fear first time is quite high, or at least it was for me. But the more we do something the more comfortable we get with it. That’s why leading a courageous life can also increase our fearlessness.

What have people said about having a dose of courage over the years, here are the quotes I have chosen:

cour1

1. Who is your standalone hero or heroine, Gandhi, Malala, Martin Luther King, Mother Teresa? Or is it just someone from your local community?

cour2

2. Everyday courage could mean keeping a positive attitude or taking action despite great uncertainty, bad health or hardship such as sharing unpopular ideas or showing up every day for work even when things are tough at the office: What’s Going On.

cour3

3. Mainstream media and our government are telling us to be afraid of Africans with one politician stating that people were afraid to go out because they were afraid of being followed home by an African and having their home invaded. No courage there!!

cour4

4. Feel that tremor in your heartbeat, that’s the recipe for courage, go out and do it anyway: The Climb.

cour5

5. Unconditional Love, the ultimate emotion – includes trusting someone besides yourself.

cour6

6. One of my top ten, Brene Brown. Netflix or ring that person you have been putting that conversation off with, you choose which will have the most positive effect in your life: Be Brave, Show Up.

cour7

7. My favourite E. E. Cummings poem is the following: I carry your heart with Me, here it is:

I carry your heart with me ( I carry it in my heart ) I am never without it ( anywhere I go you go, my dear; and whatever is  done by only me is your doing, my darling

I fear no fate ( for you are my fate, my sweet ) I want no world ( for beautiful, you are my world, my true ) and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant and whatever a sun will sing is you

Here is the deepest secret nobody knows ( Here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows higher than soul can hope or mind can hide ) and this is the wonder that keeps the stars apart

I carry your heart with me ( I carry it in my heart )

To love that much is an act of immense courage.

cour8

8. The dark and the light, Fear and Courage, they travel with each other: So What.

cour9

9. Every great adventure began by putting one foot in front of another, the courage is in taking the first step.

cour10

10 Who remembers the cheesy song from the Mickey Mouse club, one of Walt’s first creations: The original mouskeeters.

cour11

11. Every year my friend Emeli from Collective Potential produces a workbook to implement 2018. This year its called On Purpose. If you would like a copy, join Collective Potential on Facebook and there is a link.

cour12

12. One of my other blogs is about this amazing woman Maya Angelou.

Maya Angelou was an American poet, memoirist, and civil rights, activist. She published seven autobiographies, three books of essays, several books of poetry, and was credited with a list of plays, movies, and television shows spanning over 50 years. She received dozens of awards and more than 50 honorary degrees. Angelou is best known for her series of seven autobiographies, which focus on her childhood and early adult experiences. The first, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings (1969), tells of her life up to the age of 17 and brought her international recognition and acclaim.

She became a poet and writer after a series of occupations as a young adult, including fry cook, sex worker, nightclub dancer and performer, cast member of the opera Porgy and Bess, coordinator for the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, and journalist in Egypt and Ghana during the decolonization of Africa. She was an actor, writer, director, and producer of plays, movies, and public television programs. In 1982, she was named the first Reynolds Professors of American Studies at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was active in the Civil Rights Movement and worked with Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. Beginning in the 1990s, she made around 80 appearances a year on the lecture circuit, something she continued into her eighties. In 1993, Angelou recited her poem “On the Pulse of Morning” (1993) at President Bill Clinton’s inauguration, making her the first poet to make an inaugural recitation since Robert Frost at the inauguration of John F. Kennedy in 1961: Maya on Courage.

cour13

13. Bravery is a synonym for Courage I think. As well as heroism, potvaliant, and valiancy.

cour14

14. Some truth is spoken by the cigar smoker: Hot N Cold.

cour15

15. Unusual image, looks like the fish is definitely not in the right spot.

You are capable of remarkable things that you could never foretell and will never discover without courageous action, please take it.

Music this week comes from Marvin Gaye, Pink, Brene Brown, Maya Angelou, the Mickey Mouse Club and one of my favourite pop divas, Katie Perry.

Namste until next time, my dear friends.

What’s Left Unsaid, Says It All!!

Do you make judgements about people and withhold what you truly believe? Remember that not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced. Bruce Lee once said that “Always be yourself and have faith in yourself. Do not go out and look for a successful personality and try to duplicate it.”

One way that is common these days of saying this is to speak your truth, how many New Years Resolutions will be I will speak my truth this year. What has the world said about this quirky term, to speak your truth, let’s have a look:

syt1

1. People have often be scared out of doing this by people they see as braggarts thinking that you have to be over the top when sharing your truth, this is not the case for everybody, each of us is unique in our own way.

syt2

2. Author of the iconic book “Women who run with the Wolves”, Clarissa points out what you become in touch with by speaking your truth: Speak Life.

syt3

3. If there were not people who took this on, not much would change on the planet as people are addicted to being comfortable with what’s so.

syt4

4. My proofreading background seems to think they left a word out of this quote, where do you think it is and which word is it, still a powerful request: Halo.

syt5

5. Feel the tremors, time to speak up!!

syt6

6. What would the great plays sound like if you left out half the lines, your truth is your great play: Not Afraid.

syt7

7. Unnecessary things like worrying about judgements by others, make 2018 the best season of your life.

syt8

8. Your truth does not have to taste bitter, in fact, it can taste like your favourite food: Falling Slowly

syt9

9. The man who had three conversations with God states that your truth can ooze peace.

syt10

10. A few other practices that may come in handy as you change your world and for others: Live your Life.

syt11

11. Speaking your truth does not mean you have to become arrogant towards others, in fact, it means that listening to others is the best way to recruit them to your cause.

syt12

12. Go where your heart leads you, says it all really: Your Heart will lead you Home.

syt13

13. What I love about Caroline Myss is that she definitely speaks her truth, especially to participants in her seminars who are clearly not. I have had the honour of experiencing this twice.

syt14

14.Rachel Naomi Ramen answered the question – How does curing differ from healing?

Basically curing is about repair and healing is about growth. So curing is something we do to others and healing something we evoke in others. Curing happens at the level of the body and leads to a re-normalization of physiology. Healing happens at the level of the person and involves an evolution and refinement of the individual, a deepening of the capacity for emotional life, mental life and spiritual life¾the furthering of personal wholeness and not physical health. Healing promotes the quality of life and the capacity to engage with life: Who You Really Are.
syt15
15. I call it my tribe, they could be anywhere. I found a new one at the NYE chanting event I attended a few days ago.
“Once we believe in ourselves, we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight, or any experience that reveals the human spirit.” –E.E. Cummings
Music comes from the magnificent movie Once, Beyonce, Eminem, The Tigger Movie and several lesser known luminaries.
Namaste until next time, my dear friends.

Before Alice got to Wonderland!!

I’m reading Tools of Titans , an amazing resource book by Tim Ferriss. He suggests you read only the bits that hit home to you. It’s broken up in three parts: Healthy , Wealthy and Wise. I had to stop reading the healthy bit because it became way too confronting for the physical state I am in at the moment.

So I flipped to the wealthy section and the page opened on big Tony, Tony Robbins, he of the just say YES and finish my sentences for me. Each person is asked Is there a quote that guides your Life? Tony’s answer was “It’s a belief: Life is happening for us, not to us. It’s our job to find out where the benefit is. If we do, Life is magnificent.

After my experiences with NLP I have a dislike for some of Tony’s methods so this may explain why I misread it as Life is Happening to Us, so this is what we will discuss roday:

liffe1

1. I went dancing to Sweat Your Prayers on Sunday for the first time in a long time. I ran into my friend Jane. There was this incredibly sensual young woman with her, I kept thinking I know you, turns out it was Jane’s daughter Caitlin who I had spent a weekend sharing our souls together at a retreat late last year. We chatted like we had been apart 5 minutes.

liffe2

2. Denis Kimbro deals with the question as to why black Americans, who are considered wealthy by 90% of the worlds population, struggle on a day to day basis, his premise is that their reaction to life dis-empowers them: Not Afraid.

liffe3

3. From one of the world’s great philosophers, Ms. Unknown comes this classic that point to where we must first work on our life, Within.

liffe4

4. In this I want it right now world we often forget this and manage to stuff quite a few things up: Hakuna Matata.

liffe5

5. Things happens, they become events in  our lives. Then stressors enter the Universe, they are called our reactions, choose wisely.

liffe6

6. The meat and potatoes way of saying it: It’s my Life.

liffe7

7. Supposed to be versus how it actually is , gives us access to Life is happening for us.

liffe8

8. You have a roof over your head, money in your purse and food to eat, for a huge percentage of the planet that is equivalent to joy: Brene on Joy.

9. My take at it: It’s up to us, because we can, It’s our time.

liffe10

10. Are they still there, the one’s who are: they are the keepers: True Colours.

liffe11

11. Love and Respect for All, Everyone Included.

liffe12

12. What if everything that happens for us is to teach us a lesson, and our job is to get them as soon as we can: What about Us.

liffe13

13. Just to make sure you get the hint!!

liffe14

14. And remember the mirror practice so you know who needs to hear this message: Change Your Life.

liffe15

15. And from the creator of http://www.thework.com, Byron Katie, a final reminder that life happens for us. It’s up to us how that occurs.

Tony also mentions that a way to improve your life is to ask great questions that empower you because then your life is happening for you because you are the driving force.

Music this week comes from Eminem, Bon Jovi, Pink, Casey Chambers, Hakuna Matata and some wisdom from Brene Brown. I think its time for Youtube Red, can’t stomach the Macca and Coke ads, apologies in advance.

Namaste until next time, my dear friends.

Everyone’s True Colours Show Eventually

Our thoughts create our emotions and our emotions create our realities… Observe your thoughts, Just for Today. Observe your thoughts free of any judgements, just allow them to come through as they are. If you notice any negative thoughts appearing that’s excellent, now you have the ability to change them, now change them.

We have 10-17 magical seconds to flip our thoughts into positive ones before the negative thought manifests. Yes, you are that powerful. Continue, reminding yourself to observe your thoughts, with zero judgement, for as long as you can. This practice session is now complete.

We have a lot of 10-17 second moments in our lives where we do not choose or have the emotional ability to swap from negative to positive, why is this so. Let’s have a look at how life has looked at the moment of observing our thoughts:

thoughts1

1. It’s in the actions we create our future life, thoughts are just passing through. it’s what we do that puts it in concrete.

thoughts2

2. The art of mindfulness, the ability to observe, not be driven by the chaos of our mind was the greatest gift given to the west by the great meditation masters of the east: That I would Be Good.

thoughts3

3. One of the great gifts Lao Tzu gave to the world.

thoughts4

4. My friend and mentor Arion talks about living life at 50 litres or 1,000 litres. Who do you surround yourself with in life: Believe.

thoughts5

5. That mind is a tricky beast, isn’t it. It seems to have a mind of it’s own, we wouldn’t have those thoughts, would we?

thoughts6

6. It’s time to eat: The Simpsons or Shakespeare, bitching or praising your friends magnificence, you choose: Halo.

thoughts7

7. The cost of extreme vulnerability, some friends might just not get it.

thoughts8

8. Eckhardt titled his book about this subject, The Power of Now: Human.

thoughts9

9. The purpose of thinking and thought, to feel our passions that move us towards our dreams.

thoughts10

10. To break free of the control of thoughts, like , I need another drink, a block of chocolate would be good right now is one journey worth going on: Morning Meditation.

thoughts11

11. And what Deepak is doing in the video gives you the ability to be totally responsible, Yay!!!

thoughts12

12. Would you let your best friend have those thoughts or be at the influence of them for any length of time?: Best Friendship Song Ever.

thoughts13

13. It’s those moments in between the thoughts that hold the magic, remember to look for them each day.

thoughts14

14. A little bit more of wisdom from Siddhārtha Gautama AKA The Buddha. That world out there, you made it up: Sweet Dreams are made of This.

thoughts15

15. And waiting in the background, for you to get better at observing your thoughts, is your sweet, sweet heart.

So I am calling for you to take on a daily practice which will give you the ability to observe your thoughts, not be observed and controlled by them, have fun taking it on.

Musically today we swing from Bruno mars to the Eurythmics with some wisdom from Deepak Chopra thrown in, enjoy…

Let not your Love become Attachment!!

A mission statement for a Blog by Lissa Rankin:

“We are committed to inviting you to explore your truth, knowing you are loved, safe and nurtured. We believe that true healing comes from loving and nurturing both ourselves and others as whole beings. When we own all the disparate parts of ourselves, we tap into the divine spark within us, allowing us to release limiting beliefs, overcoming fears, and enjoy our lives more fully. Once we are in touch with our own divinity – shedding our masks, revealing our authentic selves, and being accepted just as we are- we can see with “magical eyes,” gazing beyond the masks we tend to wear to see the unique and special humanity that lies within us all.

By engaging with our community, we hope you will feel inspired, get motivated to bring your authentic self out of the closet, and take steps that bring you closer to health, healing and inner peace. If you have lost your mojo and feel you have little to give, we welcome you with no expectations. If you have lots to give in service to those in need, we invite you to share your gifts. Chances are good you are all of the above – sometimes seeking, sometimes giving, always enough..

Regardless of where you are on your personal path of awakening, we welcome you. Let us bear witness to your journey, knowing that while each of us walk a unique path, we walk it in good company.”

Lissa’s book The Anatomy of A Calling The Website., is worth visiting at least yearly as it contains so many profound gems about being on purpose.

But first of all she suggests you need to give up attachment, what do we say about attachment across the airwaves and through time: Here is a selection I have chosen to illustrate it:

attach1

1. This is one I have struggled with over time, that the answer lies within not externally. Working on it daily.

attach2

2. Why do we become flustered when the world started operating in a different way to that we know it should be, this is what happens when we hold on too tight: Holding on to Broken Things.

attach3

3. What did Buddha mean by this, much to ponder in 7 simple words.

Attach4

4. You can’t should’ve done something. Gold: It was a Good Day.

attach5

5. The Inner Universe, that’s where the healing lives and lies.

attach6.jpeg

6.  When we stop waiting to reply and genuinely listen to others, Its amazing how many of our judgements slip away: Crippled Inside.

attach7

7. How often do we battle with these thing in our lives – The truth is, unless you let go, unless you forgive yourself, unless you forgive the situation, unless you realize that the situation is over, you cannot move forward.

attach8

8. Judgement often feels chaotic, It’s not your task, bring on the calm: A Thousand Years.

attach9

9. Love me a few of Pema’s wise words, get her books , they are magic.

attach10

10. Here’s a memory test: Out damn spot, think High School: Time to Let Go.

attach11

11. Lots of practice here, heart and  mind, methinks.

attach12

12. Do we have the courage to give up that which has become toxic for us, I did it with alcohol over 3 years ago, feel so much better: Don’t Stop Believing.

attach13

13. Surfs UP, which are your favourite emotions to surf, which put you in danger. Perhaps it’s time to give up your attachment to those waves.

attach14

14. This is the  one thing in life I wish for more than anything else, to fly unaided. I have not been willing to give up everything that weighs the possibility down: I’ll Fly Away.

attach15

15. The field of all possibilities: Has anyone ever reached this blissful state, or would it be so scary that we would implode?

Why is it difficult to detach from the beliefs and judgments that belittle  us? Perhaps as Craig Hamilton says in his Integral Enlightenment series ” The ego  as the part of you that has a need to see ourselves as a particular way” has a lot to do with it. Daily exercise in detaching what we know to be true sounds a great way to discover how to empower the purpose we were put on this planet for.

Note to Self, Let Shit Go!!

This is a beautiful sentence for the life altering book The Anatomy of a Calling: A Doctor’s Journey from the Head to the Heart and A Prescription for Finding your Life’s Purpose: It’s tricky to learn how to inhabit your brilliance- to let our lights shine unimpeded-without mistakenly letting it fuel the ego.

On the other hand what spiritual teacher and author Marianne Williamson writes in her book A Return to Love is true:

” Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, “Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?” Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened  about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine. we unconsciously give  other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

So how has the planet related to inhabiting our brilliance, let’s have a wee peek:

brill1

1. If you have a belief in that everything is possible the chances you will come up with something new is higher.

brill2

2. Because there is a brand new interpretation of it existing that did not before you took on the challenge: Amazing Grace.

brill3

3. brilliant
ˈbrɪlj(ə)nt/
adjective
  1. (of light or colour) very bright.
    “brilliant sunshine illuminated the scene”
    synonyms: brightshiningblazingdazzlinglightMore

brill4

4. I’ve got a soul kind of feeling, moving to the beat: Soul Kinda.

brill5

5. Welcome to the human experience, that’s where life really lives.

brill6

6. Some brilliant words from JFK about humanity: Teardrops.

brill7

7. I hope they say Love and Respect for All, Everybody Included when they are talking about me.

brill8

8. Aren’t we always feeling a little bit more brilliant on a sunny day: Ain’t Nobody.

brill9

9. Is your life your favourite movie, what’s its name?

brill10

10. I might do a blog soon using quotes when world leaders were respected for their wisdom not their stupidity: Back to Life.

brill11

11. From one of the brilliant ones.

brill12

12. Not in it’s flag, it’s army, it’s leaders, simply it’s people: Our House.

brill13

13. The oldest comment, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe lived from 1749 to 1832, a great innings for the time. Brilliance does not mean that you will always spend time with others.

brill14

14. Just couldn’t leave Oprah out, proof in the pudding: Sweet Dreams.

brill15

15. Finally a quiz, one of the most brilliant human beings ever, who is he?

The key is to recognise that spiritual gifts , divine downloads, miracles, magic and brilliance are all the result of Consciousness streaming through us. Our egos don’t get to claim credit for any of it. But it is our responsibility to avoid blocking its expression through us,

I am willing to witness my Fear!!

How do you experience Miracles? The more you choose gratitude, forgiveness and love, the more miracles you expect to experience in your life. A miracle can be a moment when you give up a resentment you have held on to with a sibling for years and years, or losing that jib free you up to follow your true calling. It’s like choosing fear over love, each time you do this you have performed a miracle for all the people involved.

How has society defined a miracle over time, here is the definition currently used

Miracle:
  1. an extraordinary and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore attributed to a divine agency.
“the miracle of rising from the grave”
    synonyms: supernatural phenomenon, mysteryprodigysign

“his first miracle was to turn water into wine”
    • a remarkable event or development that brings very welcome consequences.
“it was a miracle that more people hadn’t been killed”
    • an exceptional product or achievement, or an outstanding example of something.
“a machine which was a miracle of design”
synonyms: wondermarvelsensationphenomenon, astonishing feat, amazing achievement

      “Germany’s economic miracle”

So what have people said over time about it, let’s have a look:

    miracle1

    1. The first one sounds like the Just Do It mentality, the latter that you could live an extraordinary life, go Albert.

    miracle2

    2. Mum Coach Mia Redrick puts it down to thoughts creating miracles. I think it also required body activation: You Sexy Thing.

    miracle2

    3. You are nearly there, and baby it’s getting tough in the bleachers.

    miracle3

    4. Another way of saying everything is a miracle or a gift from the curly haired wise man: Don’t Wait.

    miracle5

    5. This type of love seems to be a miracle these days. Inhale it in!!

    miracle6

    6. The possibility of magnificence, awaken your spirit to this and the miracle will flow in: So Much Magnificence.

    miracle7

    7. Where is your change room? In your head or your heart.

    miracle8

    8. Drink it in, Yes, this is true. So you have had at least one miracle occur in your life. Let’s get out there and create some others: Great Balls of Fire.

    miracle9

    9. They say the way to enlightenment is to give up everything you know. This then allows for possibility to enter it.

    miracle10

    10. Looking up who Rebecca West was I just had to include this quotes as well: People call me a feminist whenever I express sentiments that differentiate me from a doormat or a prostitute.: Hard out Here.

    miracle11

    11. Make this a real part of your day.

    miracle12

    12. Looking for your miracles, remember to focus on your why as well: Start with Why.

    miracle13

    13. I just loved this images, it needs no words to be miraculous.

    miracle14

    14. The worlds greatest miracle: the birth of our offspring.

    miracle15

    15. They say there is an experiment that can be done that demonstrates people who have taken the same way to work for years do not notice over 50 percent of what they pass by. Time to see the miracles.

Miracles are held to be humongous, and that is why people do not declare their lives as being so. I think it time to take on From Little Things, Big Things Grow.

You can Play a Shoestring if you’re Sincere!!

I’m reading s great book called The Big Little Book of Resilience by Matthew Johnstone at the moment. Matthew wrote and illustrated it. It is subtitled How to Bounce back from adversity and lead a fulfilling Life. Each page has a little bit of wisdom with a supportive image.

Accepting what we can and cannot change is one of the most important aspects of understanding resilience. it’s learning to work with and grow what’s right in our lives while accepting, but not putting all our energy into , what’s not.

So bringing sincerity into our lives allows us to see what are our rights and what will empower us. Lets have a look at what people have said about rights over the years:

right1

1. Standing up for your rights means that you do not have to offend or please others all the time, It gives you time to consider them.

right2

2. This brave young woman has raised the voices of half the world’s population: Roar.

right3

3. You have the right to…. it’s up to you, whatever you listen to in your mind takes hold.

right4

Change always comes bearing Gifts!!

”  People spend too much time finding other people to blame, too much energy finding excuses for not being what they are capable of being, and not enough energy putting themselves on the line, growing out of the past, and getting on with their lives: J. Michael Straczynski

Wayne Dyer said all excuses are misalignment. Words like “difficult,” “risky,” “can’t,” “too weak,” “too dumb” and “too complicated” do not apply to the divine mind. I  urge you to reharmonize with energy that can do anything and everything, for this is your original nature. The title I chose is based on my mentor’s statement that everything is a gift, that we just choose which one to assess as positive versus negative. Yet everything that happens to us gives us an opportunity to look at our dreams and how it affects them and what are we meant to learn from it on the path to them.

So why does society love making excuses, what does it say about this maligned practice that  holds us back, let’s take a journey:

excuse1

1. My friend Emeli runs workshops to get people to discover their Why in life, she says that until you have discovered this that your what you do will never truly satisfy you.

excuses2

2. Which side of the coin do you live by?: Come and get It.

excuse3

3. Choose the coloured path, It’s where your dreams live.

excuse4

4. Get that crayon out and cross those excuses off your list of thoughts for the day, let’s go: I’ve got no Excuses.

excuse5

5. A prime example of when there is a cost when excuses take over from the original intent.

excuse6

6. Actions deliver,  words do not. They quickly become excuses and lies if the actions do not match them: Bring me to Life.

excuse7

7. It’s time to stop saying I would if…….

excuse8

8. Miraculously every person has the same 24 hours in a day, what you get done totally goes down to what matters to you and how hard you are willing to fight for it: No Matter What.

excuse9

9. Another way of saying it is, Fake it until you make It.

excuse10

10. Dreams have a beginning , a journey , and a completion. We should not assume that it is going to be a smooth journey the whole way: Ain’t no mountain high Enough.

excuse11

11. They are called your dreams, that’s why they live in your heart.

excuse12

12. Remove these excuses from your vocabulary and your dreams will have a chance: Get Up, Stand Up.

excuse13

13. The world’s greatest philosopher, Unknown reminds us to return to the source when the doubts creep in.

excuse14

14. The longer you keep saying it and not delivering with your actions, the greater the chance of this happening becomes: Little Lies.

So how will you pass your time, going for your dreams, or listening to the reasons why not? It’s your choice in the end.

Namaste until next time, my dear friends.
