Note to Self, Let Shit Go!!

This is a beautiful sentence for the life altering book The Anatomy of a Calling: A Doctor’s Journey from the Head to the Heart and A Prescription for Finding your Life’s Purpose: It’s tricky to learn how to inhabit your brilliance- to let our lights shine unimpeded-without mistakenly letting it fuel the ego.

On the other hand what spiritual teacher and author Marianne Williamson writes in her book A Return to Love is true:

” Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, “Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?” Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine. we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

So how has the planet related to inhabiting our brilliance, let’s have a wee peek:

A Happy Heart makes the face Free!!

Danielle LaPorte says that when you are living from your joy and working for meaningfulness, you are:

A. WAY more healthy and effective

B. SO much more fun to be around (Hello love and magnetism)

C. MUCH more able to make a contribution to the world around you.

You can look at it this way, in epic proportions: The planet needs you to be working from your joy, Humanity depends on you doing what’s meaningful to you. The future of civilization is counting on your fulfilling. No pressure. Here’s the micro perspective: You deserve to be lit up by what you do in the world. it’s your life.

There has been much said about being free and clear in our lives, here’s my selection:

3. I am designing a workshop called Sacred Love Stories that increases peoples abilities to tell those stories that we think of people knew about us they would never talk to us again.

How do you experience Miracles? The more you choose gratitude, forgiveness and love, the more miracles you expect to experience in your life. A miracle can be a moment when you give up a resentment you have held on to with a sibling for years and years, or losing that jib free you up to follow your true calling. It’s like choosing fear over love, each time you do this you have performed a miracle for all the people involved.

How has society defined a miracle over time, here is the definition currently used

Miracle:

an extraordinary and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore attributed to a divine agency.

“the miracle of rising from the grave”

synonyms: supernatural phenomenon, mystery, prodigy, sign

“his first miracle was to turn water into wine”
- a remarkable event or development that brings very welcome consequences.
  
  “it was a miracle that more people hadn’t been killed”
- an exceptional product or achievement, or an outstanding example of something.
  
  “a machine which was a miracle of design”
  
  synonyms: wonder, marvel, sensation, phenomenon, astonishing feat, amazing achievement

So what have people said over time about it, let’s have a look:

1. The first one sounds like the Just Do It mentality, the latter that you could live an extraordinary life, go Albert.

2. Mum Coach Mia Redrick puts it down to thoughts creating miracles. I think it also required body activation: You Sexy Thing.

3. You are nearly there, and baby it’s getting tough in the bleachers.

4. Another way of saying everything is a miracle or a gift from the curly haired wise man: Don’t Wait.

5. This type of love seems to be a miracle these days. Inhale it in!!

7. Where is your change room? In your head or your heart.

8. Drink it in, Yes, this is true. So you have had at least one miracle occur in your life. Let’s get out there and create some others: Great Balls of Fire.

9. They say the way to enlightenment is to give up everything you know. This then allows for possibility to enter it.

15. They say there is an experiment that can be done that demonstrates people who have taken the same way to work for years do not notice over 50 percent of what they pass by. Time to see the miracles.

Miracles are held to be humongous, and that is why people do not declare their lives as being so. I think it time to take on From Little Things, Big Things Grow.

You can Play a Shoestring if you’re Sincere!!

I’m reading s great book called The Big Little Book of Resilience by Matthew Johnstone at the moment. Matthew wrote and illustrated it. It is subtitled How to Bounce back from adversity and lead a fulfilling Life. Each page has a little bit of wisdom with a supportive image.

Accepting what we can and cannot change is one of the most important aspects of understanding resilience. it’s learning to work with and grow what’s right in our lives while accepting, but not putting all our energy into , what’s not.

So bringing sincerity into our lives allows us to see what are our rights and what will empower us. Lets have a look at what people have said about rights over the years:

1. Standing up for your rights means that you do not have to offend or please others all the time, It gives you time to consider them.

2. This brave young woman has raised the voices of half the world’s population: Roar.

3. You have the right to…. it’s up to you, whatever you listen to in your mind takes hold.

4. I have difficulty with one of these, guess which one: Same Love.

5. Our voices are given to us for a reason, It’s you time to use it.

6. I say this to you all, you can do it, you rock: I will Survive.

7. As a race, we have a fair way to go with this one.

8. This year, I became a tutor to three Chinese mothers. Before I did this I didn’t realize who little I know about other cultures on the planet and how much my group of friends is from the one culture: Where is The Love.

9. Mainstream media, Whilst in the hospital with my mum I unfortunately had to view it. The word puerile and the meaning of this question come to mind.

10. As it say above, be a voice. This period of time in raising your your children cannot be taken back without some serious therapy bills if you stuff it up: Teach Your Children Well.

11. How do millions of people turn into killers during the time of war. Often they were neighbors who had lived next to each other peacefully for years and years. The above sentence speaks very loudly.

12. The federal government in my home country, Australia seem to have forgotten this, they are about to implement a national Grade 1 grammar test: Better Place.

13. This haunting image could not let me not include it.

14. I spent many months contemplating this during my dark times. It was not Erin but Ruth and Jann and Hugo who said this to me, not in such dramatic style, but I heard it: Stay.

15. Perhaps best known for the remark in a letter to an Anglican bishop, “Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men. Donald Trump, or Nelson Mandela who will be remembered in the year 3030?

So I am imploring you to realize that you have rights and you have a voice. It’s our time, Its up to Us, Because we Can.

Your Flaws are Perfect!!

“Through Prayer and Meditation I create a ripple effect of peace in the world” – Gabby Bernstein.

I remember what fun it was to skip stones in country dams when I was young. The ripple effect they made was amazing, it gave me and my friends much joy at the time. What actions do you take that create a ripple effect in the world? Remember, whatever action you take makes a ripple effect, so let’s make them great ones. I was surprised by how many different quotes there are on the effect, lets see what they are:

1. His Holiness’s ripple effect is possibly the largest in the world. Loved by so many across the planet, when he speaks, billions listen and act.

2. We need to realise that the casting of that stone do not just affect you, it causes many ripples in many lives: If You’re out there.

3. Whatever version of God you subscribe to, they know you are part of the plan and are waiting for you to cast a stone and create your ripple effect.

4. Martial Arts are based on this premise , very similar to the effect caused by your stone skipping across the lake of your life: Kung Fu Fighting.

5. And it would be superb if all of our ripples where as beautiful as this image.

6. In fact, every action does this. I think we forget sometimes: Actions speak louder than Words.

7. Great set of ripples in my opinion.

8. From little things big things grow, that’s what the ripples are about: From Little Things.

9. What new idea will you drop in the pond of our Universe today?

10. Not sure if this is Billy Cox, bassist in the Jimi Hendrix Experience or the motivational speaker with 15 million followers but I like spreading the ripple effect of kindness through the Universe: Lean on Me.

11. Thats right, a lasting effect.

12. And learn how to fly on the way down: Confident.

13. Don’t cast it if you aren’t willing to back it up.

14. And this answers what we should listen too when we are about to cause the ripples of our life: Try Everything.

15. And the final comment by one of the largest ripple makers of this century, Elon Musk, Dream that your ripples to make a difference.

Had to rely on the noticeboard at work for a subject today as I forgot to bring a reference book. There was a brochure, free legal advice every Wednesday which made me think how seriously do we take free advice and when do we give it?

So what does this term mean, let’s look at each word:

7. What a beautiful line this is, do you love the most?

8. Ain’t that the truth, as they come out of your mouth the counter starts turning: Love Story.

9. Time to power up in your daily conversations. Don’t waste words where they are not welcomed.

10. Who is more expert on your needs and desires than that person in the mirror, after all: Talking to Myself.

11. More or Less, your choice.

12. Leave the fake news and images to the media who want your money, listen to your heart: The Man I want to Be.

13. Rin is a manga character, her advice will have you work out who are the keepers in your life.

14. I met one of my best buddies at a very drunken and stoned parties in inner suburban melbourne playing trees, she is definitely not a dead leaf: Tree.

15. We are the Martin Luther Kings and Nelson Mandela’s of our time, we have the same 24 hours in a day they did.

Energy is Everything!!

“In every moment the universe is conspiring to bring me toward Right-Minded Thinking and the energy of Love” – Gabby Bernstein.

Love, it has its inner energy source that shines on you. How do you let it shine on your community, is it a hard slog or does it spread beyond all boundaries? If you spread love you attract people, things and situations that match the energy you are putting out. As you improve yourself and raise your vibration, the more you will receive things that are beneficial to your well-being.

What wisdom has the energy of love drawn to it over time, let’s have a look:

1. Sister Corita, nun, activist and artist. Her artwork, with its messages of love and peace, was particularly popular during the social upheavals of the 1960s and 1970s. As both a nun and a woman making art in the twentieth century, she was in many ways cast to the margins of the different movements she was a part of.

2. Have you ever seen one of your friends and thought, they’re beaming, they must be in Love. Works best when you include yourself: Shine on Me.

3. I don’t know how many times I have watched Jim Carrey’s great talk on this exact subject. Have a look – Fear or Love.

4. Our second Catholic entry. Pierre was pilloried by the Catholic church and made to leave his teaching position and sign a statement withdrawing his controversial statement regarding Original sin. He believed in the power of Love like that other fellow Jesus did: Across the Universe.

5. Love life, not things.

6. You notice when people emanating love enter a room, they light it up: When you walk in the Room.

7. The big man, just say I: used to raise your energy level every few minutes. Love is the ultimate form of it.

8. Starseed, that’s what they say we all are at the source: Starman.

9. I love, Love is the tool, so Yummy.

10. Have you seen the picture of Sai Baba pouring diamonds out of his hands, here it is: Sai Baba.

11. Inside itself we create the energy of Love.

12. Time to get infected by the power of Love: The Power of Love.

13. Its the glue that sticks it all together. L-O-V-E.

14. Another way of saying it that is universally recognised, is simply Namaste: Mahamantra.

15. Which 750,000 will you counterbalance, Thankyou.

When we lean towards love, we are led.

Change always comes bearing Gifts!!

” People spend too much time finding other people to blame, too much energy finding excuses for not being what they are capable of being, and not enough energy putting themselves on the line, growing out of the past, and getting on with their lives: J. Michael Straczynski

Wayne Dyer said all excuses are misalignment. Words like “difficult,” “risky,” “can’t,” “too weak,” “too dumb” and “too complicated” do not apply to the divine mind. I urge you to reharmonize with energy that can do anything and everything, for this is your original nature. The title I chose is based on my mentor’s statement that everything is a gift, that we just choose which one to assess as positive versus negative. Yet everything that happens to us gives us an opportunity to look at our dreams and how it affects them and what are we meant to learn from it on the path to them.

So why does society love making excuses, what does it say about this maligned practice that holds us back, let’s take a journey:

1. My friend Emeli runs workshops to get people to discover their Why in life, she says that until you have discovered this that your what you do will never truly satisfy you.

2. Which side of the coin do you live by?: Come and get It.

3. Choose the coloured path, It’s where your dreams live.

4. Get that crayon out and cross those excuses off your list of thoughts for the day, let’s go: I’ve got no Excuses.

5. A prime example of when there is a cost when excuses take over from the original intent.

6. Actions deliver, words do not. They quickly become excuses and lies if the actions do not match them: Bring me to Life.

7. It’s time to stop saying I would if…….

8. Miraculously every person has the same 24 hours in a day, what you get done totally goes down to what matters to you and how hard you are willing to fight for it: No Matter What.

9. Another way of saying it is, Fake it until you make It.

10. Dreams have a beginning , a journey , and a completion. We should not assume that it is going to be a smooth journey the whole way: Ain’t no mountain high Enough.

11. They are called your dreams, that’s why they live in your heart.

12. Remove these excuses from your vocabulary and your dreams will have a chance: Get Up, Stand Up.

13. The world’s greatest philosopher, Unknown reminds us to return to the source when the doubts creep in.

14. The longer you keep saying it and not delivering with your actions, the greater the chance of this happening becomes: Little Lies.

15. Earl Nightingale was an American radio speaker and author, dealing mostly with the subjects of human character development, motivation, excellence and meaningful existence. Nightingale was the author of The Strangest Secret, which economist Terry Savage has termed “…one of the great motivational books of all time“.

So how will you pass your time, going for your dreams, or listening to the reasons why not? It’s your choice in the end.

Note to Self : Stop Expecting!!

” The reason many people in our society are miserable, sick , and highly stresses is because of an unhealthy attachment to things they have no control over.” – Steve Maraboli

Luminita Saviuc states that in every instance of transformation, the transformative insight was always one that led her to letting go , surrendering and giving up, in the best sense possible. And perhaps out of all the self-sabotaging habits of thought and behaviour, the one that’s far too common is our desire to control aspects of our reality that are actually beyond our control.

I can speak from experience that staying in control can be costly, as I have experienced several mental health periods in my life which I fought seeking the help that I needed to restore the balance in my life.

So how do we relate to control in our society. let’s take a peek:

1. This reminds me of the Activation work where we get in touch with our Essence in life I do with my mentor Arion Light: Link to the Source.

2. The history of psychedelics dates back tens of thousands of years, it is only in the past 100 years that there has been scientific and counterculture interest in these substances. They were originally used to obtain transcendental experiences: Purple Haze.

3. This is one form of control it would be a great thing to let go of, refusing to get back up.

4. The soul is harder to hear when you are controlling what enters your heart: Keeping Your Head UP.

5. To achieve this those mental controls of fear and anxiety must go.

6. When the controls are gone, we can sing relax don’t do it: Frankie sings it.

7. And yet, there are profoundly powerful acts of control that we need in our life.

8. We often lose control when we just don’t want to wait anymore, and say that’s enough. Remember that what people talk about on their death beds is what they regret usually, not what they celebrate: No Regrets.

9. What would our lives be like if we were so in control that we were incapable of giving back?

In Life you have Three Choices!!

I don’t know if I ever saw myself as someone who came up with excuses. The way I saw it, Life treated me unkindly, and If I was living an unhappy life it wasn’t because of me. It wasn’t because I was making up excuses, but because that’s how my life was. I was just being “realistic.”

The opening lines of chapter 4 in Luminita Saviuc’s aka The Purpose Fairies beautiful book 15 Things you should give up to be Happy – An Inspiring Guide to Discovering Effortless Joy Book Link.. I chose chapter four because it is about giving up and I am in the throes of giving up on my much loved workshop project. I am enquiring into what has got me to this point at the moment so what does society say about giving up on our dreams; down the trail we go:

1. If that dream is well entrenched in your psyche, whatever life throws at you won’t stop you, there will be no excuse that will get in the way.

2. Stop listening to them, they are total BS: No Bullshit.

3. MLK, Nelson Mandela and Mother Teresa had the same amount of time in their lives as we do each day, they did not give up on their dreams, why do so many people?

4. How many people who were important in your life a few years ago have disappeared overtime. Those who stayed made the effort: Love the Way you Lie.

5. At One Roof, a women’s coworking space in my home city of Melbourne, there is a quote which goes like this: An entrepreneur jumps off the cliff and builds the plane on the way down. Get the drift?

6. Usually it takes a disaster like the one occurring in Houston at the moment to make these words irrelevant for most people, don’t be one of them: Never to Busy.

7. Anti graffiti them off your mental walls.

8. Supreme guitar player and street philosopher, Carlos Santana gets in our faces: Evil Ways.

9. Take these up as daily practices and you will find it harder and harder to give up.

10. Listen, that’s your heart speaking to you. It’s not into the excuses your mind comes up with from your past: High for This.

11. Nobody knows what you want except you, Fuck Yeah!!!

12. When I used to train for the 4 marathons I ran in a life a long time ago after the first four kilometres I ran I had this incredible urge to stop running. I did several times but overcame it which allowed me to get to the fitness level I needed to complete the 42 kilometres that a marathon is: Stronger.

13. Florence Nightingale is responsible for the founding of modern nursing, to overcome the male superiority belief that was prevalent in the 1800 and 1900’s Florence would have to definitely walked the talk of the above quote.

14. No time to get lost: Find a Way.

15. Defeat does not mean it’s all over, you can always get back up and continue towards your dream.
