If only our Eyes saw Souls!!

Deep positivity means that you have Faith that you’ll be okay, no matter what happens. Not if it all works out for you in the end. Not if you get what you want when you think you should get it. No matter what. Deep positivity knows that Life will have your back even when you don’t manifest what you want: Danielle LaPorte, White Hot Truth.

Want do you want in your life, is is just for your benefit or the benefit of others? I recently did an exercise where one of the most powerful questions was what did I have to give to society, I answered it with my words and my wisdom, when you get to 62, 63 next Monday you have a fair bit of both.

So I put Deep Positivity in Google Images and the following quotes are what caught my eye, let’s journey:

dp1

1. One of the dangers in life, becoming a workshop junkie and not using the new distinctions you have learnt in your day to day experience.

dp4

4. Marvelous is the power of thought. Thinking is as natural to man as breathing. Thought has lifted man above the level of the animal world. It has raised him from the savage to the civilized state in life. Man’s thought rules the world. The power to think is man’s most precious right and his proudest privilege. How are you going to use this skill: Always on my Mind.

dp5

5. I recently have been working on a database of people who are considered gurus and thought leaders by our society. The amazing thing about these people is that they were just ordinary folk until they discovered their why in life.

dp6

6. They are free to give, share widely: Something Just Like This.

dp7

dp15

Woodstock 1969, drugs , sex and rock’n’roll. Those people were your grandparents, Respect please.

Be positive for yourself, for others. I live by my why – Love and Respect for All – Everyone Included. This is a worldwide vision. I invite you on the journey.

Namaste until next time, my dear friends.

Thanks for your kind Words!!

Worship what you love and love what you worship – Danielle Laporte wrote this in her superb book, White Hot Truth my world vision is Love and Respect for All – Everyone Included. To achieve this I see the need for kindness to be part of our natural paradigm.

I wear my letters on my front!!

Just got back from a weekend retreat with my mentor Arion Light: The Activation School. We never know what new surprising empowerment will be served up. This weekend it was an initiation. So what does society define an initiation as, here’s the Google definition:

initiation
noun
  1. 1.
the action of admitting someone into a society or group, typically with a ritual.
    “rituals of initiation”
    synonyms: beginning, starting, commencement

    the action of beginning something.
    “the initiation of legal proceedings”
    synonyms: introduceadmitletinductinstallinstateincorporateordaininvestenlistenrolrecruit, sign up, swear in;

    convert

I think ordain is the closest to what I felt on the weekend because it felt like being introduced to a whole new cut at life. So how has society commented on the  noble art of initiation over the years, let’s have a look:

    int1

    1. It is, or it isn’t: why would you choose the latter, yet I know I do. Inition helped me greatly with hanging around with it is.

    int4

    4. They say a life that is spent in reacting and responding to day to day situations and circumstances is stressful, let’s initiate life from today: Shape of You.

    int5

    5. It’s a lifetime journey, my dear friends.

    int6

    6. That’s why I and the participants are in the Activators program, the love of learning how to live a better life: Good Life.

    int8

    7. One of the first spiritual books I read,The Way of the peaceful Warrior. Dan Millman was a world class gymnast when he had a horrific motorcycle accident. The book is about his journey to recovery with his teacher.

    int9

    8. We were just waking up who we already were: The Crazy Ones.

    int10

    9. Within first, then the without joins in happily.

    int11

    10. I wonder what I and you have written on your internal sticky notes: Song for the Inner Child.

    int12

    11. We weren’t learning how to initiate this, ours was about love.

    int13

    12. This was part of my initiation, I spent a lot of time having the thought, WTF is going on: Full of Shit.

    int14

    13. The initiation for me was to release the last two statements.

    int15

    14. You can’t know it all, yes, he and I are talking to you: In case you didn’t know everything.

    int16

    15. Finally from one of the greatest philosophers to walk the planet, something that must be included in any effective initiation: Gratitude or celebration as we practice it in the Activators Program.

We were asked to make a final statement at the end of the weekend, mine were rapturous contentment

Rewriting your model of Reality!!

Our beliefs are like unquestioned commands, telling us how things are, what’s possible and impossible and what we can and cannot do. They shape every action, every thought, and every feeling that we experience. As a result, changing our belief systems is central to making any real and lasting change in our lives – Tony Robbins.

Our models of reality lie below the surface. Often we do not realize we have them until some intervention or contemplative practice makes us aware, How connected to your beliefs are you, or do they just percolate in the background waiting to surface when some event calls for them to.

Beliefs control our everyday actions and how the world is controlled, how has this shown up in quotes over time, let’s have a look:

belief15

14. Walk out to your car and turn on the ignition switch of believing in your ideas and dreams: Fight Song.

The F Word!!

OK, fess up, who instantly thought of the four letter word when they saw the title of todays blog. That’s because the subject it is about is one that society has a total struggle with, forgiveness. A Course In Miracles says – …holding no prisoner to guilt, we become free. Maybe you can’t move along your career path because you haven’t forgiven yourself for a mistake you made in the past or maybe you remember the time you hurt somebody or they hurt you and you are afraid of being that intimate again.

There are oodles of forgiveness quotes, I put this down to the fact that society has such a quandary with it. What has been said over the years, let’s have a look:

for1

1. Perhaps the greatest example of this is when Nelson Mandela walked out of the  prison on Robben Island after 27 years.

for2

2. How beautiful is this piece of sage advice, locked in and noted: Heal the Wound.

for3

3. Revered the world over for his nonviolent philosophy of passive resistance, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was known to his many followers as Mahatma, or “the great-souled one.” He forgave one nation to create another.

for4

4. You don’t go to a gym to get this sort of strength, it is definitely on the inner plain: You Raise Me Up.

for5

5. You can use your memories to treat people harshly or perhaps you forgive them for being human.

for6

6. Because this is where not forgiving can take you. If you wish to see how poisonous it can be watch mainstream media: I have a Dream.

for7.jpg

7. I have a friend who has not spoken to his sister for 5 years over an  “incident”. They were over 30 when it happened.

for8

8. My mother once sent me a postcard with a ship on it asking if that was how I was returning to Australia. I don’t think I had seen her for three months. I didn’t realise she was that funny: Mother.

for9

9. Write out the apology you would like and then burn it so it is in the ether, you know you will never receive it in the  flesh, stop hurting yourself.

for10

10. A powerful lesson, think before you put your foot in your mouth, the repercussions are costly: Words.

for11

11. Bryant McGill is one of the most virally shared and read authors online in the world today. His articles have reached more people on social media than any top shared article, by any other writer or media outlet including the New York Times, Barack Obama, Huffington Post, or CNN.

for12

12. I remember a time in my life when if my mother said white I would say black. My sister pointed out that I still retain a little of this towards her, at 62 and 90 it is time to forgive her for what I think happened between us and hold on to the hope of tomorrow: Hold onto Hope Love.

for13

13. It’s a two way street.

for14

14. Can you smell it, remember to give time to smelling the flowers: Supermarket Flowers.

for15

15. Time to set yourself free, Unlock the door.

A morning reflection to end on from May Cause Miracles by Gabby Bernstein

For today I commit to letting go of my past. In this moment I choose to release all the pent-up anger and resentment I have placed on myself. I welcome even a moment of release. I forgive myself for my past, my present and my future. I trust that I am love and that all my life’s experiences have been divinely placed for me to learn and grow. I’ve done the best I can with my life’s circumstances, and today the best I can do is forgive. I forgive myself today.

You so have what it Takes!!

I began the six week journey again that we take on Arion Light’s Activation Program: Activation School. In the first week we look at what it truly takes to come home to one’s self, the heart, your soul. We do a beautiful practice with a  partner receiving the beloved from them. We also discuss our intentions for the course, mine is to give strength to the love and the purpose of my life and for the planet.

So what do sages and visionaries and your ordinary joe say about coming home, lets have a look:

ch1

1. F. Scott, big time author pointing out its inner work not the colour of your drapes that has you come  home.

ch2

2. Insert your name in place of someone’s and I reckon this quote hits a home run: I’m Going Home.

ch3

3. Byron and Arion’s work attest to this. Do the work and it becomes easier to come home.

ch4

4. The story you tell yourself creates how your home looks, what do you put on your welcome mat: Home is where the Heart Is.

ch5

5. We have journeyed so far from our hearts spaces, it’s time to take up the challenge and return to that beautiful, beautiful oasis.

ch6

6. I met a person recently, she is from a different generation, but the moment I began to speak with her I knew I had found another of my anam cara, Irish for soul friend, you normally have known each other for lifetimes: Make You Feel Your Love.

ch7

7. There are people I miss in my life, so it’s wonderful when you hear they are going to drop into town for a visit, include yourself on this.

ch8

8. Doesn’t your heart feel so much lighter and open when you come home to it? They say that love has come to town: Uh-oh, Love has come to Town

ch9

9. To be thrilled all of the time, that’s what coming home to yourself truly is, the ability to  live it moment to moment.

ch10

10. Do you ever go and stand in a rain storm hoping it will wash away the pain and hurt that is real or imagined. In coming home the heart can heal them as well: Cleansing Rain Song.

ch11

11. I live alone, can’t have pets so I get these in other places in my community where I am coming home.

ch12

12. Haven’t your wildest dreams come from your heart not your head? If your home address resides above your neck it’s time to move: The Dream of Life.

ch13

13. What would you include in your favourite coming home experiences?

ch14

14. When travelling one may find many new temporary homes, but there’s a pillow waiting for you in your heart: Home is where the Heart Is.

ch15

15. Old souls, young souls – our country has a 60,000 year soul to come home to, we just have to have the courage to find it.

I did get a little bit off track on the way through, but I suppose that is one of the variances of the journey to coming home, it never follows the route you hope ot will.

Namaste until next time, my dear friends.

Small dreams have no Magic!!

Question: Will you still do it if your dreams might not come true? If the payoff doesn’t come in this lifetime? Would you still work to accrue beautiful karma and positive thought-forms.

Devotion to truth seeking takes something. You may have to let people go, walk the path alone, ask for help on the way, not know what the fuck is going on and all these things may happen within one day.

Danielle LaPorte states that devotion is the bridge to your soul and joy is your soul’s reflection. Happiness comes and goes but joy is ever present.

So what are your truths on the way to devotion, what does society say about them:

dtt1

1. To walk the path of your truth is to lead a moral life, not a life of morality where rules are used to belittle how you show up in life.

dtt3

2. Mark Twain once said it’s easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled, the mainstream media has a lot to answer for, do not buy their bullshit: It’s a Family Affair

dtt4

3. Mahatma held high standards, devotion to truth being one of them.

dtt5

4. Sometimes what actually happens is more bizarre than anything that could have been imagined. For me this happened when I ran down the main street of Leningrad at 5.30 one afternoon in the name of ending world hunger: Far from Any Road.

dtt6

5. A Facebook friend posted Should we tell white lies, I’m not for them, we have a new generation that lacks strength because of them.

dtt7

6. Love this quote, it has some great practices contained in it to empower your life: The Greatest.

dtt8

7. Author of the inspirational book The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying Sogyal Rinpoche places devotion squarely in the area of gratitude, have you been grateful today? Have you acknowledged anyone for it?

dtt9

8. Grover Cleveland, born March 18, 1837, was a tough opponent of political corruption who fiercely guarded the integrity of the offices in which he served. He lost a second term as incumbent but won back the presidency four years later. He earned the nickname ”guardian president” for his record-breaking use of veto power and strengthened the executive branch, ushering in the modern presidential era. A certain D. J. Trump would love him for this: Doing It Right.

dtt10
9. Grace is so wonderful, it is hard to

find the words to describe her.

She is to be truly beautiful reflecting

an unparallel sense of eternity.

This Amazing Grace

Amazing grace.
dtt11
10. How did they know 2,000 years ago what state mainstream media would end up in: Why would I tell you the Truth?
dtt12
11. Most governments in the world seem to have got part of this wrong, the little bit at the end.
dtt13
12. Truth resides within your inner journey, outside is the playing pieces: The Truth.
dtt14
13. Nicholas Charles Sparks is an American novelist, screenwriter and producer. He has published eighteen novels and two non-fiction books. Several of his novels have become international bestsellers, and eleven of his romantic-drama novels have been adapted to film with multimillion-dollar box office grosses. In his spare time, Sparks volunteers at his local retirement home.

I will face whatever Comes!!

What does the following question raise for you – What if I didn’t have to prepare to be present? Danielle LaPorte also suggests to do these three things in her book White HOt truth:

  1. Identify where you are already meeting with spirit in your life
  2. It’s important what you call your practice
  3. There is no competition
  4. Remember , it’s about ongoing practice , not permanency

Over my years I have meditated, taken a Buddhist name, done Landmark for seven years, ran marathons in Australia and Russia, but I like this summation by Danielle:

Even with steady devotion to your growth, your practices will ebb and flow. Some days you’re going to be riding high, dancing to merge with Shiva himself, or fasting to feel the pulse of the higher realms. other days , you’re just doing what it takes to not feel like shit.

So what are your life affirming practicing and what do the wise ones say about it, Lets have a look:
