Don’t Squander Joy!!

I went along to watch a friend do her graduation performance at a transformational program she had been participating in called The Voices Of. In it, Ally embraced the voices of her INNER CHILD, INNER WISDOM, FEAR, SHADOW, DO-ER & DREAMER, she had come to find her TRUE VOICE. It was one of the most joyous evenings I have been to in a long time. Here’s a link to the website for it if you wish to know more: Voices of Movement.

It made me think about what brings you joy in my life. Is it music, sex, food? There are many ways to feel it, let’s have a look at what they say about it:

1. From the author of the iconic novels Treasure island and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Robert Louis Stevenson points to the fact joy is a feeling, not something that can be truly expressed in words.

2. Joy is a choice we must make daily, I made it last night by attending Ally’s graduation. To experience it today I must continue to choose it: I Choose You.

3. Can’t you feel it bubbling up just wanting to burst through, have a joyous day!!

4. Get out your fishing net of love, there is a soul full of joy waiting for you: Heart Full of Soul.

5. How do you have joy occur in your life, you focus on the things that make you feel that way.

6. What do you hold as holy, what keeps you warm and aglow? For me it’s music and blogging: Eternal Flame.

7. Your life is not somewhere to get to, It is a journey. Finding joy in that will make for a more enjoyable one.

8. It doesn’t change who you are when you get to your goal. If you are not joyful on the way there don’t expect it will change miraculously when you achieve it: Joyful Journey.

9. Until his final years, Wagner’s life was characterised by political exile, turbulent love affairs, poverty and repeated flight from his creditors. His controversial writings on music, drama and politics have attracted extensive comment, notably, since the late 20th century, where they express antisemitic sentiments. 10. One of my favourite writers Wayne Dyer reminds us that we knew this when we came into the world, so how did it become something that we have to battle for as we get older: Be Natural.

11. If you lead a life of gratitude for the simple things joy will flourish in your life on a daily basis.

12. This is a list of joyful events I attempt to practice daily because it certainly would be a case of Incredible Joy: Singing In The Rain.

13. Joy is not a destination , it’s a state of being. There is a borough named Mount Joy in Pennsylvania though.

14. Thich Nhat Hanh says some mightily obtuse things at times. You will always get a huge amount from them. This song came up next on Youtube, I think it defines joy appropriately: A Spoonful of Sugar.

15. From the world’s most prodigious and famous philosopher, Anon. comes the reminder that when you are giving joy it cannot help but stick to you as well.

So joy is available in your life, if you want it to be, I say don’t squander the opportunities day by day.

The Best Part of our Hearts!!

In my community paper the Northcote Leader there was an amazing story of kindness reported the other day. Members of the community donated enough for a family to replace their car to take their daughter to school who has cerebral palsy after they were involved in an accident and their car was written off.

Stories like this remind me of the kindness of strangers and not to give in to the dross that is marketed as mainstream media, that of death, killing, war and anything that seems to bring community spirit down. How do we remember to be kind each day, lets go there:

1. Confucius was born in 551 B.C., I think it is still relevant after all these years. Gratitude is a great gift to receive but is it gratitude if you expect it?

2. Models do not win citizens of the year very often. We do not make these decisions on looks but what difference these people make: Lean on Me.

3. Amantine-Lucile-Aurore Dupin ; 1 July 1804 – 8 June 1876), best known by her pseudonym George Sand , was a French novelist and memoirist. She is equally well known for her much publicized romantic affairs with a number of artists, including Polish composer and pianist Frédéric Chopin and the writer Alfred de Musset. Wonder why she used a male pseudonym?

4. One of the main benefits of Kindness, we rise together: Rise.

5. Watching small children meet each other without judgement to me is the best example of this on the planet.

6. Did you know there is a good news network : http://www.goodnewsnetwork.org – perhaps we can sack CNN: Good Times.

7. I think I’ll hop on Raymond, my pet unicorn and spread lots of this today.

8. How many strength building exercises do you do a day, get your kindness muscle out and play: Be Strong.

9. What would they write on the grave of the person who did this – I’m sure it would include a life well lived.

10. I gave up organised religion a long time ago, perhaps I could take on this one: Lady Gaga and Dalai Lama on Kindness.

12. A man who inspires me as much as his holiness, Lao Tzu, I recommend you read his books: How to write a Love Song.

13. Jesse Louis Jackson, Sr. (born Jesse Louis Burns; October 8, 1941) is an American civil rights activist, Baptist minister, and politician. He was a candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination in 1984 and 1988 and served as a shadow U.S. Senator for the District of Columbia from 1991 to 1997. He is the founder of the organizations that merged to form Rainbow/PUSH. Former U.S. Representative Jesse Jackson, Jr. is his eldest son. Jackson was also the host of Both Sides with Jesse Jackson on CNN from 1992 to 2000.

I like walking in the Rain!!

What is your favorite fresh thing, one of mine is walking in the rain!! Being washed clean by Gaia, given a new start!! As we have more and more fresh things taken away from us and given processed experiences how do we claim back our fresh moments?

It is probably in our childhood years we experience freshness on a day to day basis. Running from one adventure to another, being excited moment to moment. What does the world have to say about being fresh in our lives, let’s have a look:

1. To experience all that occurs in your life allows each moment to have a freshness to it, a sense of adventure.

2. Ready, Steady, Go. It’s time to begin today’s new adventure: Tomorrow.

3. Who’s afraid of the big bad wolf of stopping and starting over again. Remember that he is not real, only made up in your thoughts.

4. There is that saying if you have never failed at something you have never really lived. Life is not meant to be easy at all times: Better.

5. Laura Ingalls Wilder February 7, 1867 – February 10, 1957) was an American writer known for the Little House on the Prairie series of children’s books released from 1932 to 1943 which were based on her childhood in a settler and pioneer family. During the 1970s and early 1980s, the television series Little House on the Prairie was loosely based on the Little House books and starred Melissa Gilbert as Laura Ingalls and Michael Landon as her father, Charles Ingalls.

6. They call them cubby holes because if you stay in them you never grow up to have fresh starts: Try.

15. Whose life are you living, the life your parents told you to live and you got trapped by the money. Listen to your soul, it’s time for a fresh start.

Fresh has so many interpretations in our world. If it has numbers next to it it is not fresh. Think that if you know the person who made it or grew it then it probably is.

Action brings your dreams Closer!!

The women of America could have lain down for four years and hoped Donald didn’t get re-elected, they didn’t do this. They are committed to their rights and the rights of all the groups Donald disrespected and over half a million of them took to the streets to show their commitment to them and their way of life.

What calls people to action and to fulfill their commitments in their lives. Let’s have a look at what people say:

1. There is a famous saying, don’t listen to their words. look at their actions. It’s not your mood that gets things done, it’s your actions.

2. Are you: Shake It Off.

3. In my country, Australia, wedding commitments fail up to 50% of the time, where do they go? What is missing after the words?

4. How often do you go to the convenience store, sorry about the maccas ad: No Excuses.

5. 6. Commit to the changes that are happening in your life, because it is guaranteed they are: Changes.

7. I use my goals to feel how I want to. To me, it is more important how I feel on the journey than the goal.

8. When you commit to a new future, stop looking back. That was the past and you are after a new future: Little Wonders.

9. When you make big Commitments you may need to do a bit of this, apologies for hurting someone but never for being yourself.

10. Do this, however you choose too. It’s got a unicorn in it: Born This Way.

11. Don’t listen to those thoughts. The Universe and your Inner Pilot Light are rooting for You.

12. Include others in your commitments. People are called to you by how you make them feel: Humble and Kind.

13. Can you touch the bottom of your life, make larger commitments!

15. I love plants in cracks, they have huge commitment.

I honor the women around the world who stood up for their rights and beliefs over the past 24 hours. It gives me hope that the change is truly coming.

It’s often its own Reward!!

Being rewarded, is that receiving you a financial salary for what you do in life? Or is it a more spiritual path as spoken of by luminaries like His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Deepak Chopra and Carolyn Myss.

Above me, there is a flier advertising the Compassionate Voices Community Choir quoting words such as Rejoice, Improve, Connect and Learn. If this is what being Compassionate has to offer I’m on board.

In our busy lives, compassion is one of those things that is easy to drop out, for ourselves and others. So let’s have a look at what society has said to remind us not to do that over the centuries:

1. I recently read a quote that said do not complain for 24 hours, not even once and your life would transform. I can imagine the same applies for judging oneself and others.

2. Putting life off is not a part of a Compassionate journey. it would be like being in the now moment to moment. How much more would you get done if you did not procrastinate over things: Do It Right Now.

3. Grandparents are old, even older than our parents, and our younger siblings, why do they cling so hard? These are ideas you need to transform because you will probably be all these things sometime in your life.

4. Always have a mirror around so that you can remember you always have someone to practice compassion with, the most important person in your life: Compassion.

5. Compassion has some worth housemates, these are some of them.

6. Compassion, another name could be heart to heart surgery: Open Your Heart.

7. How would the world transform if we taught compassion in the education system as well as knowledge? I say it would be a very different place.

8. The compulsory cute animal photo quote, If you don’t ask or act what you think is purely supposition: Rolling In the Deep.

9. As Byron Katie said in her quote we always have someone to practice compassion with. And when we get that down pat we can then open our heart to others.

10. I’m the leader, the leader of the gang of compassion I am, so can you be too: Leader of the Pack.

11. Each of our senses has a purpose that can empower our lives and the world.

12. Probably better known as Uma Thurman’s dad, Robert Alexander Farrar Thurman (born August 3, 1941) is an American Buddhist writer and academic who has written, edited or translated several books on Tibetan Buddhism. He is the Je Tsongkhapa Professor of Indo-Tibetan Buddhist Studies at Columbia University, holding the first endowed chair in this field of study in the United States. He also is the co-founder and president of the Tibet House New York and is active against the People’s Republic of China’s control of Tibet: Om Mani Pad Me Hung.

13. Have compassion for the days to come, keep growing and creating the best day of your life.

14. Thoughts don’t get a lot done, it needs physical actions as well for anything to happen: Would You.

15. They call it the technological revolution, don’t forget the spiritual technologies such as compassion, kindness, serenity, mindfulness and humility.

Remember to look in the mirror when you first get up and say I Love You then go and pass it on to whoever you come across during the day.

Team Work makes the Dream Work!!

I was cleaning up my apartment the other day when I found my old Synergy sticker. Synergy is an all night dance event that works because so many people put their time and efforts into making it work. Thats the definition of Synergy: the interaction or cooperation of two or more people, organisations, substances, or other agents to produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects: “the synergy between artist and record company”:

synonyms: collaboration · working together · joint action · combined effort · teamwork · mutual support · partnership · coopetition · coordination · liaison · association · unity · concurrence · concord · accord · understanding · give and take · compromise · dealings · relations · coaction.

It been realised for a very long time that synergy works, what have we said about it over this time, lets have a look:

1. Stephen Richards Covey (October 24, 1932 – July 16, 2012) was an American educator, author, businessman, and keynote speaker. His most popular book was The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. His other books include First Things First, Principle-Centered Leadership, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families, The 8th Habit, and The Leader In Me — How Schools and Parents Around the World Are Inspiring Greatness, One Child at a Time. He was a professor at the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University at the time of his death.

2. Another way of looking at synergy is to take all the natural brilliance of the people involved and mix them together and look at what pours out: Team.

3. How do we exploit all the advantages people have? Use synergy as the base for all enterprise I say.

4. si-nar-je , that for my Chinese english students. They would find the original spelling difficult: Rise.

5. James Bond AKA Pierce Brosnan was involved in a campaign that used the synergy a campaign brings to amend when the navy had their training exercises so that mass migrations were not affected.

6. Branson doesn’t merely say things like, “Screw it, just get on and do it.” He actually lives his life that way. He drops out of school and starts a business. He signs the Sex Pistols to his record label when everyone else says they are too controversial. He charters a plane when he doesn’t have the money. When everyone else balks or comes up with a good reason for why the time isn’t right, Branson gets started. He realises the power of synergy: Richard on People.

7. This is what may hold the creation of synergy back, thinking that you are not that. You don’t need to be. Someone else on your team will be.

8. Toba Beta is sci-fi writer from Indonesia. He works as economist/practitioner in Indonesia financial industries and capital market. He is dubbed as Mister Bond by Investor Magazine. He writes journals, novels, quotes and poems. This is quite a powerful quote: Open Book.

9. Love this quote, it expresses all that is positive about using synergy in your life.

10. I find it difficult to relate to people who attempt to split their personal and work life into two different aspects. They are all hours spent living int eh same day, the same lifetime: A Day in the Life.

11. Ou were you? I’m a proof reader by profession as well as a blogger. Just a little oops there.

12. This is a great way to relate to other in a situation that requires synergy to evolve: Karma.

13. I believe it also takes action, thoughts are fine, but no action equals nada, nothing, zip, etc. etc.

14. Isn’t this just so beautiful. A big Aww from me: Never let you Go.

No matter the Situation!!

I was always considered intelligent at school but was expelled at the end of Year 11 for non attendance. I may have been intelligent but did not consider a formal education the way to honour it. I spent many a day in Year 11 not attending the institution, Eaglehawk High School I had left my parents home to go to.

Many years later I began the education that would fulfil my desires, in the self development field. Through the tenets of Buddhism and Werner Erhardt and Associates I began a journey that I still continue today that will continue to the day I pass to the other side.So what does society have to say about where the fulfilment of intelligence lies, let’s have a look:

1. My favourite bird, the noble owl suits this quote that Henry Ford made famous in the early years of the last century questioning were people allowed to think in an education system that was set up to train clones for jobs that already existed.

2. Being supremely intelligent did not necessarily mean that you fitted in . Here are some unusual facts about Albert: Quirky Albert.

3. Often people who come up with the great changes on our planet are considered quite crazy because how could their idea work or there is no need for that when they first start talking about it.

4. Janis Joplin, one of the 60’s great philosophers, was not known for her answers , she was known for her questioning of society: Ball and Chain.

5. Albert again, he did not shout in life, just kept improving his arguments until they gave him the Nobel Prize for one of them.

6. Or Love, kindness, inner beauty etc. etc. etc: Money.

7. I read recently you should be the dumbest person in the room if you want to be a success, this relates to that.

8. Epictetus was a Greek-speaking Stoic philosopher. He was born a slave at Hierapolis, Phrygia, and lived in Rome until his banishment, when he went to Nicopolis in north-western Greece for the rest of his life. His teachings were written down and published by his pupil Arrian in his Discourses and Enchiridion: Just Do It.

9. They say when you are born 60% of the jobs you will do have not been invented yet, but in our country they are trying to return the education system to a standardised system throughout the country, why would you do that?

10. There is also a fourth these days, artificial which could be seen as replacing one or two of the above: Prince Ea.

11. How can you keep on learning if you are always the smartest person in the room, if this occurs more times than less, then you are going backwards.

12. Your physical looks do not remain the same, we get lines and wrinkles as the years pile on. Your wit and foresight grow over time: I don’t want to change You!

13. I had to include this one, because I am known as the research nerd, research intellectual bad ass has a much better ring to it.

14. Intelligent people will really get this: Pharrell is Happy.

15. I love this quote by Albert, It’s why I rail against the education system that thinks everyone is the same.

Intelligence is a gift we could all participate in when we enter our lives from the womb, we just need to find the right education path. Don’r rely on the one that the system says is the one that will work for you.

I am a leaf on the Wind!!

One of the things I have wanted to do my whole life is fly unaided. I tried gliding, hang-gliding, parachuting but they were all too noisy. I wish to float in the clouds like an eagle, silently looking down on the planet as I soar over it.

Birds do not see the borders we have made up for the planet, when they fly thousands of miles to return to their nesting sites from their wintering grounds they do not require a passport to cross the imaginary lines we have drawn on the planet. That is the freedom of soaring, the word that most fulfils my desire to fly.

Soaring is defined as soaring to fly or rise high in the air: “the bird spread its wings and soared into the air” ·, “when she heard his voice, her spirits soared” synonyms: fly up · wing · wing its way · take off · take flight ·

So lets have a look at what the world has said about soaring :

A. W. Tozer was a American Christian pastor, preacher, author, magazine editor, and spiritual mentor. For his work, he received two honorary doctoral degrees.

Tozer had seven children: six boys and one girl. Living a simple and non-materialistic lifestyle, he and his wife, Ada Cecelia Pfautz, never owned a car, preferring bus and train travel. Even after becoming a well-known Christian author, Tozer signed away much of his royalties to those who were in need. Sean Lucas has commented on a biography of Tozer by Lyle Dorsett. He said “Dorsett exposes a fundamental contradiction in Tozer’s character that raises all sorts of questions about holy zeal and its effect on the whole of life. The contradiction could be summed up: how did Tozer reconcile his passionate longing for communion with God with his failure to love passionately his wife and children? 2. One of the parts of the recipe of soaring is looked at in this quote, the essential ingredient of Self Love: Feeling Myself.

3. Love this powerful quote by Anne Bronte, the lesser known of the Bronte literary family. Her second novel, The tenant of Wildfell Hall, considered the first feminist novel was prevented by her sister Charlotte being re published after her death.

5. Don’t you love those nature documentaries where young birds take their first attempts at flying, often they fail, but they never give up.

6. I love how eagles and albatrosses soar in the sky high up on their own. It is such a powerful statement about this is my life and I’m creating it: It’s my Life.

7. Don’t you love those moments when life clicks and whatever it throws at you you feel like you are floating on the timeless winds above those that usually toss you around day by day.

Victor Hugo – Though a committed royalist when he was young, Hugo’s views changed as the decades passed, and he became a passionate supporter of republicanism; his work touches upon most of the political and social issues and the artistic trends of his time. He is buried in the Panthéon. His legacy has been honoured in many ways, including his portrait being placed on French franc banknotes. I don’t really know what his quote means: The Pun Song.

9. Rufus Wainwright is an American-Canadian singer-songwriter and composer. He has recorded seven albums of original music and numerous tracks on compilations and film soundtracks. He has also written a classical opera and set Shakespeare sonnets to music for a theatre piece by Robert Wilson. Not sure if he is referring to the fae or the fact that he is gay in this cute quote.

10. Just a little detail, I will never give up on my dream to fly unaided, even if it only in my dreams. Who knows what they will invent on the next few years?: I believe I can Fly.

13. There are theories as babies we have invisible angel wings and they fade as we stop believing in our ability to soar as we age. Time to reverse the process.

He has definitely flown above the stone throwers in his life.

So how do you choose to soar in your life? What is you desire that equals mine to fly unaided. Please don’t give up on it. That is what is your passion in life.

Like Icing with Cake!!

How many truly intimate moments do we have in our lifetime? Is it a touch from our beloved, a feeling surging through our heart or screaming at a person you desire for 5 minutes like recently happened to me because words didn’t seem enough.

Type in Intimacy in Google and it brings up over 9,000,000 results. Lots of books, on line and experiential courses abound. It is defined as Intimacy:

the state of being intimate.

a close, familiar, and usually affectionate or loving personal relationship with another person or group.

a close association with or detailed knowledge or deep understanding of a place, subject, period of history, etc.:

an intimacy with Japan.

an act or expression serving as a token of familiarity, affection, or the like:

to allow the intimacy of using first names.

an amorously familiar act; liberty.

sexual intercourse.

the quality of being comfortable, warm, or familiar:

the intimacy of the room.

So academics are not even sure what it means, how has it been quoted over the centuries, lets have a look:

1. I like this definition a lot, it has happened to me recently leaving me gob smacked as what to do about the situation after it occurs.

2. Same person, blowing all over each others face: These Boots are made for Walking.

3. I’m available for this. Not sure if there is someone there at the moment.

4. Sounds like song lyrics , these words are so intimate: Just give me a Reason.

5. My friend Chris runs beautiful events that allow people to experience the intimacy of this over a day : The Yoga of Eye Gazing.

6. Is bilss really Bliss? my anal proofreading picked up the mistake. Obviously they didn’t go the hard yards of intimacy when creating this: I was Here.

7. A deadly trio for the sacredness of true intimacy. Watch out for them.

8. How often do we withhold this integral form of intimacy in the name of not hurting someone ? : Only Love can hurt like This.

9. I see You, a phrase donated to the English language from the blockbuster film Avatar. It expresses the depth of intimacy well.

10. Intimacy cake, without the icing you end up in bed, alone. : Commitment.

11. Do you do the small things from which big things grow in the intimacy stakes on a daily basis?

12. I want this oh so badly, come on. I am ready and able.

14. Henri Nouwen was a Dutch Catholic priest, professor, writer and theologian. His interests were rooted primarily in psychology, pastoral ministry, spirituality, social justice and community. Over the course of his life, Nouwen was heavily influenced by the work of Anton Boisen, Thomas Merton, Rembrandt, Vincent van Gogh and Jean Vanier.

After nearly two decades of teaching at academic institutions including the University of Notre Dame, Yale Divinity School and Harvard Divinity School, Nouwen went on to work with mentally and physically handicapped people at the L’Arche Daybreak community in Richmond Hill, Ontario.: Fear and Love.

Does Popularity equal Quality?

I lost my Bose headphones recently, they were beautiful and the sound impeccable. I cannot afford to pay $200 for another pair so have been buying made in China $3.00 ones from a two dollar shop. They do not do the same job and they do not last for very long, stretch them too far and they become headphone not headphones,

I can always excuse this with the fact it will take nearly 100 pairs of them to cover the cost of another set of Bose headphones but the quality is just not the same. What is it that has us declare what is quality? Relationships, computers, phones are several areas in our lives that we use this word for, so what has the world said about it and how have they defined quality over historical times, lets have a look:

1. Steve Jobs, CEO of the iconic Apple company kept the launch of the Apple 2 computer on hold for over a year until his company got it right, the first successful mass produced computer and the beginning of a journey that saw him being sacked from his position in 1985 and returning to save the company in 1997 with ideas such as iMac, the iPod, the iTunes Store, the iPhone, the App Store, and the iPad.

2. Quality is developed by having integrity in what you do 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 12 month a year, all the years of your lifetime: Circle of Life.

3. Do you perform only for an audience, remember your soul is watching if you are in the middle of a desert.

4. Kaoru Ishikawa is known for his diagrams that are known as fish-bone diagrams that showed the causes of a specific event. They were used to turn around the quality of an event, showing that failure could be turned into success: Resilience. Failure to Success.

5. They say you can change or create a habit over a 21 day period, quality is on of those thing you can create in that time too. It doesn’t take for ever.

6. Leaders help themselves and others to do the right things. They set direction, build an inspiring vision, and create something new. Leadership is about mapping out where you need to go to “win” as a team or an organisation; and it is dynamic, exciting, and inspiring.

Yet, while leaders set the direction, they must also use management skills to guide their people to the right destination, in a smooth and efficient way: Leader of the Pack

7. John Ruskin(8 February 1819 – 20 January 1900) was the leading English art critic of the Victorian era, also an art patron, draughtsman, watercolourist, a prominent social thinker and philanthropist. He wrote on subjects as varied as geology, architecture, myth, ornithology, literature, education, botany and political economy. His writing styles and literary forms were equally varied. Ruskin also penned essays and treatises, poetry and lectures, travel guides and manuals, letters and even a fairy tale. The elaborate style that characterised his earliest writing on art was later superseded by a preference for plainer language designed to communicate his ideas more effectively. In all of his writing, he emphasised the connections between nature, art and society. He also made detailed sketches and paintings of rocks, plants, birds, landscapes, and architectural structures and ornamentation. he definitely lived the above quote in the many areas he strived in life.

9. Many people have issues in increasing the amount they charge for their services, especially in the healing sector. How much do you charge for your gift? Provide quality and it should not be an issue.

10. In producing quality in our lives, there must be a high level of caring involved. As this quote states it’s not in the knowledge you have gathered over the years but the effect you have had on people that is remembered at your passing: If Everybody Cared.

Peter Drucker ( November 19, 1909 – November 11, 2005) was an Austrian-born American management consultant, educator, and author, whose writings contributed to the philosophical and practical foundations of the modern business corporation. He was also a leader in the development of management education, he invented the concept known as management by objectives and self-control, and he has been described as “the founder of modern management”.

12. A rather controversial statement as we are all born within our mothers wombs and then it is up to us to survive and prosper with the support of what is offered to us: Time of my Life.

13. The king of fire-walking, Tony Robbins says it is the questions we ask in our lives that have the quality of it occur. Never stop asking quality questions.

14. I spent a lot of my teens hanging around with people of questionable quality to try to get at my parents. I gave it up and spent a lot of time alone before I found my tribe: Can’t Get Enough.

15. Said to be a taskmaster to the extreme, Steve Jobs had this as his motto when dealing with his employees, a request for the best quality possible each day.

We have the choice of leading a quality life or one that is so so. I vote for the former.
