By Me or Through Me.

Another great distinction from my mentor Peter Sage this week. Do you make promises to yourself on a regular basis that you will work harder and triple your income, or do you pay people shitloads of money to other people whose pretty new Facebook Ad could finally be the solution to that grating problem that is in the way of your ultimate success. Notice that you have been going down this well trodden path for, in my case a few decades and surprise, surprise, it hasn’t worked.

Peters wonderful levels of consciousness technology, which I will not mention all here, because they are his not mine are remarkable in their simplicity and the transformation they offer you if you get them. if you wish to find out them all, go over to peterSage.com and join our community of truth-seekers.

To Me – a life of victimhood, By Me – A Hard Yakka life and Through Me – a life of relative ease in creating magic in your life are three of the levels, I am wandering between By Me and Through Me with Peter’s ongoing training in his USM program and am so blessed that I sat up and watched an online Wealth Summit where I came across Peter, Grant Cardone, Les Brown , Jack Canfield and Tony Robbins on a personal basis. I was communicating with the Host and Panelists not everyone on Zoom for two nights, hanging shit on the South Africans about the fact we thrashed them in the latest cricket series appealed to the panelists sense of humour.

As Amanda Palmer says in her great book and TED talk the Art of Asking if you do not ask they cannot say Yes. My mum taught me to treat everybody the same, and I try to live by this koan. So imagine my surprise when Jack Canfield answered my email about “So you have millions of dollars, but what do you do on a daily basis? and Peter how did he put up with all the losers screaming Save me, Save me, make me a millionaire without me doing anything. See, they have been money makers for decades, but I have. been an activist, a dead broke one but have taken part in some of the great campaigns that have made a difference over the years.

We all chose our paths. under Peters tutelage I have been freeing up space to allow abundance in my life. I am not skilled at it, my first attempt at it cost me $20,000 US. But recently I won an hour with the top branding guy in Naarm/Melbourne. I have quite a few skills and we discussed them over the hour and my life. At the end he told me to stop bullshitting about wanting a business, it was clear that I wanted to create a movement. See, I intend to save the planet for my three year old grand niece Tawera with the funds of Bill gates, Elon Musk, Sir Richard Branson, Geoff Bezos and Grant Cardone and any other billionaire out there willing to play the game. I know governments will not do it, as they are mere power trippers and do not really give a rats about the planet. It is outside their day to day ego stroking.

Rant Over, time for Marc and Angel wisdom, not a list but a parable:

When our stories Hold us back:

She rarely makes eye contact, Instead, she looks down at the ground. because the ground is safer. Because unlike people, it expects nothing in return. the ground just accepts her for who she is.

As she sits at the bar next to me, she stares down at her vodka tonic, and then the ground, ther her vodka tonic. “Most people don’t get me,” she says” They ask me questions like, “Whats you problem?” or “Were you mistreated as a child?” But I never respond. Because I don’t feel like explaining myself. And I don’t think they really care anyway.”

The music is getting loud and I can see thats she needs to talk. I ask, “Want to get some freah air?” In the chilly night air, she tells me her story. As she speaks, her emotional gaze shifts from the ground, to my eyes, to the moomlit sky, to the ground, and back to my eyes again. When she finishes, she says, “Well now you know my story. You think I’m a freak, don’t you?”

“Place you right hand on your chest,” I tell her. She does. “Do you feel something?” I ask “ Yeah I feel my heartbeat.”

“Now, place both of your hands on your face and move them around slowly.” She does. ‘ What do you feel now?” I ask. “Well, I feel my eyes, my nose, my mouth…I feel my face.”

“That’s right.” I reply. “But unlike you, stories don’t have heartbeats, and they don’t have faces. Because stories are not alive…they’re not people, they’re just tories.”

She stares into my eyes for a long moment, smiles and says, “Juststories we live through.” Yeah…and stories we learn from.”

Peter Sage, meet Marc and Angel Chernoff, the best list creators on the metaverse, you should work together.

To my readers in 160 countries, I really like this blog, Enjoy.

In the nature of asking aka Amanda style., could someone lend me $47 US in the next 24 hours, I will pay you back Thursday, I would really love to do Peters challenge but my finances are still fucked day to day.

My friend Thea is a Rockstar.

Years ago I met this vital young, compared to me woman named Thea. We were doing Landmark work, many of you will know what that is so I won’t go into a long explanation. Thea disappeared off the radar, and I often wondered what had become of this ball of possibility.

So as you do, me having the fastest hands on Google in Australia, late one night I typed her name in. Was the person running Forward Steps out of Perth the same person. A little bit of online Research, and a picture on her website confirmed I had relocated my long lost friend.

What is a Forward Steps you may ask. I purchased her book, which has now converted into an on line membership with a looked forward to email each day chock a block with inspirational knowledge set in different sections.

These sections are a) Wisdom of the Web, a well researched piece of empowerment from the Metaverse b) Life Power Tip, my personal favourite, often in question form or pointing out what should be obvious but is often not, I have altered my habits through this section. c) An Action – and go. d) Challenge – What will you take on to be the change you need to be your best self. e) Quote – There are some mighty wordsmiths during the Ages f) Clearing – Do something that will improve your energy g) Question – In your face time. h) Affirmation – A brand new one for each day i) Uplifting Extra – a little surprise thrown in at the end and j) a video for those who like it visual.

Thea states the following: These Notes are intended for leisured grazing to collect new thoughts, dreams, ideas, philosophies, possibilities, positives, creatives, tools, software, programs, life power tips and a lot more. I attest that is exactly what they do, in spades.

Type in Forward Steps Thea in Google and it will take you to this treasure trove of possibility:

Well, its time for the Marc and Angel list, its actually a tale: Recently I was at the water’s edge of a local beach when a young boy ran full speed right by me and into the shallow surf. He continuously hopped up and down as he was running forward, kicking his little legs in the air and across the surface of the water before inevitably falling face-first into the waves.

He got back up and repeated this act several times, each time with more determination than the previous attempt. It became obvious that he was trying to run across the surface of the water. I couldn’t help but laugh. His combined levels of determination and exertion were priceless. After several attempts he notived my laughter and walked over to me.”What’s so funny?’ he asked. “You remind me of me, and it makes me smile,” I said. “Do you know how to walk on water?” he asked.”Like a superhero” “ Well, I think I can help you out,” I said. ‘Let me give you a few pointers.”

Curious, the boy sat down on the sand next to me. His mother scurried over, worried…but I reassured her that her son wasn’t bothering me. Relieved, perhaps, tp have her son sitting safely on the sand instead of flying head-first through the air, she went back to her beach chair about twenty feet away and continued a conversation with another lady.

“So, you want to walk on water, eh?” I asked. He nodded his head anxiously. Here is a rough summary of what I told him

  1. make sure you were born to walk on water
  2. Decide that nothing can stop you.
  3. Work on it for real.
  4. Let the whole world know what you’re up to.
  5. Value the people who value your ambitions.
  6. Ignore the naysayers.
  7. Prepare yourself for the pain.
  8. Enjoy the pain of your greatest challenge.
  9. Never give up. Never quit.

Now to the quotes and songs:

Don’t listen to your Labels

I was born Rodney Paul Williams. I am now 68, I am retired, I am a blogger and I make chai for the ecstatic dance community in Naarm/Melbourne. These are my current labels. I have had many over a quite interesting visit to the planet. A question, how have your labels affected you in reaching your childhood goals, there would be a lot of fire chiefs and astronauts except for them.

We also label ourselves: I am shy, I am not enough, i am ugly, I am slower than them at reaching my abilities. Not very positive but we are trained by society to do this, WTF..

what about I am glorious, I am captivatingly beautiful, I an uber intelligent, I am a world leader, we don’t hear these as often. My mentor Peter Sage states these labels are the greatest dream killers on the planet. How would life be if we just existed on the planet enquiring into what I am moment to moent, imagine that level of freedom.

What do Marc and Angel have to say about this in the form of a list:

  1. Never let a bad day make you feel like you have a bad life.
  2. Tell the negativity committee that meets inside your head to sit down and shut up.
  3. Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, It’s about learning to dance on the rain.
  4. You look the best when you wear your smile. There is no beauty like the one that comes from inside you.
  5. Moving on doesn’t mean forgetting, it doesn’t mean you coose happiness over hurt.
  6. Grudges are a waste of perfect happiness.
  7. Someone else is happy with far less than you have.
  8. You are always free to do something that makes you smile.
  9. Talk about your blessings more than your problems.
  10. Stop looking at what you have lost, so you can see what you have.
  11. Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others cannot keep it for themselves.
  12. Just because it didn’t last forever, doesn’t mean it wasn’t worth your while.
  13. If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change the way you think about it.
  14. Life does not have to be perfect to be wonderful.
  15. The more you love your decisions, the less you need others to love them.
  16. A bad attitude is like a flat tire, you can’t get very far until you change it.

Marc and Angel and peter seem to speak from the same prayer book, don’t you think, time to move on:

;

Straight out of the IMS workbook.

From one of the Jazz greats, a pearl of wisdom.

Childbirth, the world’s greatest label transformation, Parenthood.

I believe this is why Peter talks about challenging yourself on a daily basis, the art of de-labelling.

Be careful how you judge.

I Am with nothing but nothing after it but an enquiry to journey upon, bliss.

One of the greatest white NBA players ever puts his bobs worth into the discussion.

The sisters will get this before the men.

How many bad guys or gals are there in your life, Look again please.

A cheap and nasty way out of doing the real work of connection.

And of course we have to have at least one Oprah quote.

The labels for this are changing dramatically, some people don’t like it.

That is how children learnt to hate from you.

Do not fuck with a mother and her child.

Back to the words. I have written 600 of these, over 5 million words on possibility, not a cent received. I am into transformation like Peter. You can’t take money with you. Actions that make adifference, that is an entirely different matter.

Don’t listen to GOOP!!!

I have had an interesting year, Met a billionaire and multi millionaire. Dropped 20K I could not really afford, and been locked up as an involuntary patient in a mental health unit as consequences of the first two things for four weeks, Once in, it is not so easy to get out.

I , through these mistakes, learnt a lot, including the acronym GOOP, the Good Opinion of Other People and the deadly effect it has on you achieving your dreams. I thank Peter Sage, the creator of this distinction for altering how life occurs for me now.

I also am enquiring into two other distinctions,Your opinion is not the truth, Ever and Listen, you do not learn when you are speaking.. The opinion one was described to me in the following manner: Opinion lives on one side of the Universe and truth the other. our task, this time in , is to align them as closely as possible. Unfortunately most humans give up at a very early age on this quest, this is when cinversation dies. His Holiness I credit the third one to, one of my favourite wise men. Do you think he was on a camel that night in Bethlehem?

Time for a Marc and Angel list, this time it is called 20 ways to create million dollar ideas, here we go

  1. Generate lots of ideas
  2. Fail a Lot
  3. Consume information Consciously
  4. Focus on topics and ideas with large markets
  5. Make sure there is money in your market
  6. Keep your eyes, ears and mind wide open
  7. Test variations of the same idea.
  8. Figure out what works well in one market and tailor it for another.
  9. Put the pieces together
  10. Spin a new twist on a previous breakthrough
  11. Systematise a popular service into a reproducale product.
  12. Play with Opposites.
  13. Look for problems and solve them.
  14. Design other products that supportother successful products.
  15. Keep it simple.
  16. Use the tools and skills you already have.
  17. Surround yourself with other thinkers.
  18. Be enthusiastic about what you are doing.
  19. Accept constructive criticism, but ignore naysayers
  20. Actually do something with your ideas.

Do you do this, I’m not great at it, i am a “nice person”

The famous the five we spend time with covered here.

Spend your time with the one or two, I am very bad at this.

Most relationship advice is GOOP< you know that already.

All the songs are what came up when I put in my word is the truth songs, there are a lot out there.

Time for Rod’s Words. Interculturalism – Love and respect for All, Everybody Included. Why we do what we do: It’s up to us, because we can, it’s our time. I used to make a side hustle writing koans, these are my favourite two. Thanks Peter Sage for a new possibility at 68. I tell everybody.

Is Neil Young God

I recently brought a new Macbook Pro, my 2015 model lost access to its microphone and I knew it was time to upgrade. The new one does so many wonderful things, I am learning every day. I love the Youtube facilities on the premium channel. It has all the concerts from back in the day and from now as well. From Woodstock to Burning Man, they are all there. I am going through a Neil Young phase. I can not believe I walked out of his concert to score some dope back in the day.

Marc and Angel list:

  1. Your thirties, forties, and fifties won’t feel like your thirties, forties, and fifties.
  2. Bad things will happen to you and your friends.
  3. Everyone can make a huge difference.
  4. First impressions aren’t all they cracked up to be.
  5. Big results come when you narrow your focus. Love Yourself, and become your own priority.
  6. Sometimes you just have to go for it.
  7. It order to get, you have to give.
  8. Not much is worth fighting about.
  9. Don’t try to impress everyone.
  10. Keep having fun.
  11. Keep it simple.
  12. Little things stick with you.
  13. Keep your options to yourself.
  14. Manage your time.
  15. Manage your money.
  16. What you learn in school does matter.
  17. Drema will remain dreams if you don’t take action.

Vinyl rules, Okay.

And we have found each other again, let the Shibari commence.

Back in my bonging days, we lived this.

Who are you, Neil Young?

All of them copied the ngreat Neil Young, all of them.

Am I a Billionaire

Two weeks ago I had a bank balance of $1.30 and for the first time in my life had to request a food parcel. I felt gutted..

Move forward two weeks and it was time for another of my many free webinars, this on wealth, says the man with a $1.30 bank balance. But they had Deepak Chopra and James Kornfield as the buying and they are always worthwhile. Have you seen the movie Riding with the Dragons, a fantasy at the heart? There were all these other dudes I had never heard of and they claimed they were millionaires and even, shudder, billionaires. I have recently has a Tjhor Eruption, no Kundalini Awakening for this bogan country boy Cats supporter, we won the flag, go Cats..

The course I had done looked at Love and Money archetypes, just what one needs after 30 years, and 8 more archetypes. F me when they got to the Nurturer archetype, being the World’s Greatest Volunteer, a laydown hand. Imagine my mild shock when I woke up the next day with access to all of the weird stuff I had done over the past 30 years that people would like me. Werner. Choedak,, ISTA, German yelling, all the good stuff, and they threw in a voice, something I had wished for all my life..

So i did the wealth summit, but could not find my glasses for two nights and yes I did comment to the host and panelists over this time, and of course, one must hang shit on the South African noted because we crapped on them in the cricket time after time. It seems some of the panelists found this mildly amusing and never told me what I was doing.

I threw songs and my opinion at them freely, they were only multi-millionaires and billionaires after all and what could an Age pensioner from Preston matter… Perhaps asking Jack Canfield he might be worth 480 million but what did he do on a day-to-day basis was a bit cheeky, but he did answer me the next day. Seems he built 700 houses for the texas flood victims, I told him that was not a bad start, and yes, I have become a smart arse after the eruption.

The participants claimed they would tell us how they made their millions for nothing, I could smell BS a mile off. Except I was wrong, dead wrong and they did, sure there were the $500 to $1,000m dollar courses but they were worth a minimum of ten times that. it seems one of them is a Louisiana Good old Boy and likes his Cajun music, as I did when I was a pisshead, especially a song, Ain’t nobody here but us chickens. Snap, it was the Good old Boys’ favorite song growing up, The multi-billionaire and the Age Pensioner had something in common..

so I kept swapping music he might like, The Vital Bits Spotify list from Melbourne’s most popular morning community radio show for example. And yes, the smart-arse thought he knew better than the wealthy ones because he had been an activist for 40 years.

We get to the steak knives, courses at about $500 to $1,000, so the one-dollar balance kid tuned out. lots of offerings but two really grabbed me, a 12-month mindset program and a course that covered all the aspects of a business. They sounded so good. i was a bit sad. I was going to miss out once again.

When I started getting links to $50,000 programs with the words you need to train brother, I was quite shocked. $120,000 dollars later one of them said I had to pay $50 dollars.. The 12-month program, and the business skills, all flowed forth, including programs from people not even on the panel, and the names involved, fuck me sums it up really..

I have had to decline some very famous people as I just had too much to handle. I have chosen my favorites and begun the journey, but they keep adding things during the programs, another 12-month business coaching program, and yes they sent me the link gratis..

Enough on that, time for marc and Angel’s kist:

  1. Free yourself from negative people.
  2. Let go of those who are already gone
  3. Give people you don’t know a fair chance
  4. Show everyone kindness and respect
  5. Accept people the way they are
  6. Encourage others and cheer for them
  7. Be your perfectly imperfect selfForgive people and move forward

  9. Pay attention to who your real friends are.
  10. Always be loyal.
  11. Stay in better touch with people who matter to you.
  12. Keep your promises and tell the truth
  13. Give what you want to receive.
  14. Say what you mean and mean what you say.
  15. Allow others to make their own decisions
  16. Talk less and listen. more.
  17. Leave petty arguments behindKIgnore
  18. Ignore the unconstructive, hurtful commentary
  19. Pay attention to your relationship with yourself.

Poverty existence versus abundance,choose

  1. Be
  1. I hung out in poverty land for 40 years.

Boom!!!

This is where i have my Werner Brain-Farts.

My nephews wife grew up in Tanzania.

The maestro speaks, Warren Buffett is the man,

But yoiu get coverage, musician BS

You need both, economy and community.

From day one teach the children well.

How much sleep do you need?

Uber-rich people never have money in the bank, no tax.

The Good old Boy is a fine example og this

Shake that moneymaker, Cute songtotlllt.

Francis was more known for his scientific elocutions, but this is quite wise on money as well.

Well, each and every day as I listened to this summit and more and more gifts in the form of line course arrived advising. me I needed to train and no money changed hands, I realized I had reached a hiatus with my newfound buddies, especially the good old boy, with whom I had become really cozy and like a lifetime buddy in a very short period of time. What was the limit to which he would invest in my crazy Werner Brain fart ideas? I have come to believe that there are no boundaries to I t at the moment, so theoretically, I. had become a billionaire. Fuck me are the two words that come to. mind,.

Back ot my traditional ending: Love and Respect for All, Its up to Us, Because we Can, Its Our Time, As we charged the machine guns, knowing that we all will not make it through, Inside there are more of us than them, and they know they have lost. These are my pithy slogans that make a difference, I am entering the brave new world of being paid for what I have done for nothing besides the fact I love words that empower, and see you on the other side of abundance. See you in Florida, Good old Boy. You rock for transforming my world and allowing me to become the philanthropist I have dreamt of being my whole life

The Dead Parents Society

What do you talk about around the dinner table or consequently avoid discussion like the plague? I was having a catchup at Macca’s AKA a coaching session when this subject came up. Her dad had passed recently and mine were well gone so It was safe to discuss our feelings towards them.

It is something that is not on the list for a mention, Gardening, House ownership, and even sex are okay. But dear old mum and dad are not on the agenda. Is it because it hurts too much, they say it takes a few years, but my dear old dad passed 11 years ago, and when I think of him, which I must admit is rare these days, it still hurts.

AMarc and Amgel list, they are from the iconic tome:: 1000+ little things Happy Successful People do differently. google Life hack.

  1. The most beautiful thing is to see a person nearby smiling. And even more beautiful is knowing that you are the one behind it
  2. 2. If you have the power to make someone happier today, do it. The world needs more of that.
  3. Some people build lots of walls in their lives and not enough bridges, there’s no good reason to be one of them. Open yourself up. Take small chances on people.
  4. 4. Never stop doing little things for those around you. Sometimes those little things occupy the biggest part of their hearts.
  5. Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of love – all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
  6. Be present, be thoughtful Compliment people. Magnify their strengths, not their weaknesses. This is how to make a real and lasting difference in your relationships, new and old.
  7. We don’t always need advice. Sometimes all we need is a hand to hold, an ear to listen to, and a heart to understand.
  8. Today, just be 100 per cent present with those around you – be all there. That is enough.
  9. There is no such thing as self-made Someone else believed in you. Someone else encouraged you. Someone else is invested in you. Someone else prayed for you. Someone else spoke life over you. Be that someone for others too.
  10. It’s practically impossible to love your neighbours if we don’t know them, and yet that’s often the case We live in such a hyper-connected world with such limited or nonexistent communication Remember this. Relationships matter. Stories matter.
  11. In human relationships, distance is not measured in miles but in affection. Two people can be right next to each other yet miles apart.
  12. Stay in touch with those who really matter to you, not because it’s convenient, but because they are worth the extra effort.
  13. The single greatest problem in communication is the illusion it has taken place. Too often we don’t listen to understand, we listen to reply. Bring awareness ti this. And listen for what’s truly behind the words.
  14. Set an example. Treat everyone with respect, even those who are rude to you not because they are always nice, but because you are. And do your best to be thankful for the rude and difficult people too, they serve as great reminders of how not to be.
  15. 15. Sometimes it is better to be kind than right.
  16. People are much nicer when they are happier, which says a lot about those who aren’t very nice to you. Sad, but true.
  17. The real test always comes when you don’t get what you expect from people. Will you react in anger? Or will calmness be your superpower?
  18. The way we treat people is the way we treat people we don’t understand is a report card on what we’ve learned about love, compassion, and kindness.
  19. Be kinder than necessary. What goes around, comes around. No one has ever made themselves strong by showing how small someone is.
  20. The best relationships are not just about the good times you share, they are also they’re also about the obstacles you go through together and the fact that you still say I love you in the end.

Now for the quotes and the songs, I promise to not get too morbid.

I missed doing this, I feel sad often. At 68nits too late, baby.

It has been eleven and four years for the Williams siblings since we became the elders. Each and every day.

Plum village, such a wisw nman. R.I.P. THich.

How many ways can you say, I love you mum and dad.

I did some terrible things to my mum during my teenage years, I call it our black vs. white time.

Lots of truth in this statement.

In my Buddhist years Pema Chodron always said this

They mostly always know already, they just love you for who you are.

Unrequied love by any other name.

Great image of motherhood.

For you, Karina.

Unfortunately , we do not do this all of the time, then we have to have our wounds healed.

Early days, it’s up to mum and dad.

over to my words. The first slogan I ever got paid the princely sum of AUS25 dollars for It’s up to us, Because we Can, It’s our time. The ethos of Interculturalosism: Love and Respect for all, everybody included. Leonard – The light gets in, Gil Scott Heron: The revolution will not be televised Me- fuck Rupert Murdoch. It is an interesting time in our lands: WE are charging the machine guns, and some of us will not make it. There are more of us than them, They know they have lost. If you enjoyed this I would appreciate s donation towards the 1 million dollars I am raising for the ASRC in 2023/ The button os on our website.

Until next time, my dear friends.

The World of Dance

I was not a born dancer. In fact, clumsy fucker comes to mind around my dancing ability. My first memories of dance are the Lockwood South Memorial Hall outside Bendigo and the Pride of Erin, I was about eight. My mum and dad loved this weekly sojourn, and we kids were dragged along each and every weekend.

I now live for a Dancing Freedom sunset dance outside Melbourne at Kangaroo Ground. led by my beautiful friend Phoenix Onesonf Maradola, the best-set creator in Australia. Throw her some love and sponsor her music on Mixcloud under Whitecalf, you will come out of it ahead because you can cancel your Spotify subscription, so it will only cost you 2,99 Euros instead of $11,00 a month.

Now to Marc and Angels list. This one is titled Success Questions to make you Think:

  1. What’s the number one thing you want to achieve in the next 5 years
  2. If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake
  3. What’s something that used to scare you, but no longer does.
  4. What mistakes do you make over and over again?
  5. What did fear of failure stop you from doing?
  6. If you could learn anything, what would it be?
  7. What is something you will continue to do until the day that you die?
  8. What is the best advice you have ever received?
  9. If I were to say to you “Just go for it”, what would it be?
  10. What’s something you must give up to move forward?

Here we go with the quotes and the music, Yay!!!

Ballet touches me in so many ways.

Follow the Yellow Brick Road.

Tap, One, Two, Three.

Didn’t that Happy song make it big?

No, you are the fool.

Love all the feelings things.

I love you, Mummy and Daddy.

It was not her first step she remembered, it was her first dance movement.

And we know who it is really for, don’t we?

And of course, you dance in the rain.

First crawl, then Dance.

I didn’t know Michael Jordan was a ballet dancer?

And during the Fire element they are so, so loud, aren’t they, Phoenix?

Our dear old blind and deaf dog, Suki knows this emphatically.

So remember Mojo – The Dance of Connection, 5 Rhythms with Rivka, 5 Rhythms with Evelyn and the magnificent Phoenix OneSong Maradola aka White calf.

Now let’s talk about me. I live my life from the ethos of Interculturalism: Love and Respect for All, Everybody included, look for my FB group called Interculturalism and my blog I am an Interculturalist. I would love to join our growing tribe. My saying: It’s up to Us, Because We Can, It’s our Time. The first words I ever got paid the princely sum of $25.00 for. I lived in the hope Greta T. would discover it and it would become the chant of the International school strike movement. She has her own words and I have mine. Remember the reviews, dear friends, and extra Brownie Points for the first one.

Peace Out, thank you, Dane.

What happened to Rod and his words.

I used to religiously write two blogs a week, that is how I got to over 700 blogs and 4,000,000 words on possibility and being read in 160 of the 194 countries across the planet.

Let’s go back to January 3, 2022. Why is that date significant? That is when I wrote my last blog. I had a crazy thought that nobody was reading my words even though empirical evidence showed this to be untrue.

I have sat in front of my keyboard many times and nada.

I have just completed my dear friend Clare Elizabeth Dea’s Love and Money course. One result out of it I did not expect was to get my words back, but I frigging did.

I like celebrations so I will write my first official blog on January 3, 2023.

Until then here is a quote and a song to get back in practice..

Imagination belongs to hope. It’s the creative dance of possibility

Here’s a song about possibility:

So I’ll see all of you, my friends across the planet on January 3, 2023.

Are you a Good Ancestor?

I hadn’t heard this expression till earlier this week when I was cleaning up and came across the Consciousness Rising copy of Dumbo Feather, a magazine with a tagline Conversations with extraordinary people. One of the articles was about being a good ancestor. The term came about in the 1970’s from Jonas Salk, who also developed the polio vaccine.

It didn’t take off much since then due to neoliberal hyper-individualism, but is receiving more interest these days. A Good Ancestor tries as best they can, to think as far as they can beyond their own life span, to the time when their children’s children will be living.

Roman Krznaric, author of The Good Ancestor comes up with six conversation starters to have a Good Ancestor chat:

  1. Deep-Time Humility: What have been your most profound experiences of deep time, and how do they affect you?
  2. Intergenerational Justice: What, for you, are the most powerful reasons for caring about future generations.
  3. Legacy Mindset: What legacy do you want to leave your family, your community and for the living world?
  4. Transcendent Goal: What do you think should be the ultimate goal of the human species?
  5. Holistic Forecasting: Do you anticipate a future of civilisational breakdown, radical transformation or a different pathway?
  6. Cathedral Thinking: What long term projects could you purse others that extend beyond your own lifetime.

As the COVID pandemic keeps growing and growing, I think it is time we all become good ancestors and realize the planet is not just here for us to survive the years we are on it, what does society say about being good ancestors, lets have a look:

1.David Ross Brower was a prominent environmentalist and the founder of many environmental organizations, including the John Muir Institute for Environmental Studies, Friends of the Earth (1969), Earth Island Institute(1982), North Cascades Conservation Council, and Fate of the Earth Conferences.

2. Sustainability vs. Economics, which will save the world: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBEGxqJKup8

3. In Australia we are slowly learning that 60,000 years of warden-ship mean that we should listen to the indigenous people of our land.

4. Thomas Berry, was a cultural historian and scholar of the world’s religions, especially Asian traditions. Later as he studied Earth history and evolution, he called himself a “geologian.”  He rejected the label “theologian” or “ecotheologian” as too narrow and not descriptive of his cultural studies in history of religions. He was drawn early on to respond to the growing ecological and climate crisis and proposed the need for a “New Story” of evolution in 1978. In this essay he suggested that a deep understanding of the history and functioning of the evolving universe is a necessary inspiration and guide for our own effective functioning as individuals and as a species: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4_lUpnIoTo

5. I still have the stone my youngest nephew gave me, he is now 29.

6. Essentially to fall in love with nature and defend it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQOaUnSmJr8

7. And remember it will be their world longer than it will be ours!

8. And their kids as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvuN_WvF1to

9. Another indigenous race not listened to in the USA.

10. Can you hear it still, or is all the industry too loud: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LH2J81ZjsGk

11. We have forgotten this on most continents!!!

12. Said a long time ago, now we have kids climate strikes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1Lu5udXEZI

13. And we are stupid enough to do this.

14. Penny Lancaster is best known as Rod Stewart’s partner, yet has a personal fortune of 20 million pounds sterling: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEAu5TFAUpE&list=PLwoaKzAN8kVmMdMqdlelhS4j2WfpFiWPq

15. Just remember 2020 and how can we not.

The three quotes in the articles are good reason of rus to become good ancestors as soon as we can, here they are:

“We’re using 1.6 Earths every year. We’re using more resources than we can naturally regenerate and create more waste than can be naturally absorbed in a carbon sink.”

“What I see is that my daughter or her great grand-child are not alone. They are in a web of relationships with people, with community, but they are also in the web of the living world. They need air to breathe and food to eat.”

“I don’t think this is going to be easy, and that all our problems will necessarily be solved. But there is the possibility. What we’re seeing in the world now is what transformative change looks like.”

Today’s playlist is from rock and roll royalty and includes some intercultural songs. We start with Sir Paul McCartney and friends, Leanne Rime’s golden voice is next. CSNY take us back to a golden period of rock. Little Dicky and Olena Uutai fill inthe middle. The penultimate song is by Matthew West and we finish with John Legend: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJlQ3F9bKYruwVK7IDiAHKUvlsdM1-dk8

I hold my ethos, Love and Respect for All, Everyone Included as a Cathedral Project – it will continue much past my lifetime. Until next time, my dear friends.
