Ten Words: Transform a life

Have you ever received that call from your best friend, I need your help, I’m …….. What would you say. I have spent a lot of time in therapy and been hospitalised 4 times because I am not great at getting the coaching. But recently I had the thought what if it did not take years of therapy and having to go to hospital, what if it took ten words or less.

I have come up with this saying for the world, Love and Respect for All, No one left out, If we all lived by this koan, war would disappear overnight and peace would reign supreme. When I first thought of it I was confronted, but the more I share it and stand in its power, I can actually see it happening in my lifetime. We are on the edge of transformation for the planet, people are over the all mighty dollar being the dominant paradigm.

I have taken on a 32 day challenge to not complain, i.e. being part of a conversation that is a complaint, speaking or thinking a complaint. I am up to day 7, as a race humanity is not good at this non complaining. We seem to find it easier to bitch about life than stand in our power and make the difference required. I have had to leave situations several times but have also turned several situations around. MY mind needed some training in not thinking complaint mode, it is well trained in it.

So what would you say. I attended Catherine Deveny’s brilliant Gunnas Writing masterclass and I told her of my intention to write a book on the subject. Catherine reeled hers off without hesitating. What would our lives be like if we all could do that. Another one I use is it’s up to Us, because we can, its our time

Expect nothing in Return.

How often do we do things and expect nothing in return. This is the place of magic and miracles. If we go into a situation expecting a given outcome,  stated or unconsciously intended, we take away the possibility of unbridled miracles. Children are living examples of the miracle way of life. They imagine wonderful results that we have long given up on through having this joyful way of life trained out of us.

There is a way back though, We can dance in the lounge room, sing in the shower, draw on the footpath. Acts that are outside our safe box of what is considered appropriate behaviour. Joy will gradually sneak back into your life and free your controls. In this space magic miracles start to occur, people begin to join in with you, you are giving them permission to play.

Set up a daily practice that you will do one action where you have no agenda, and share the results with five people also with no agenda. Deep inside everybody is the wish to be free again like our young teachers. The joy of dancing in the rain beats deep within our hearts. Remember its well worth your while to break through the barriers of having to know what the result will be, its where magic and miracle live. Over to You.

Love and respect for all, no one left out

I was sitting at my desk in the Darebin Intercultural Centre in Preston , Australia where I volunteer two days a week when this manta entered my mind. It was and still is confronting. But the reason I can live with it that I have seen it being practiced at our centre. No one is excluded, we have free English classes, requirement to take part, be human: we have cultural evenings that let communities be proud of their culture, the purpose is to educate other cultures that all cultures are proud of their backgrounds. We don’t allow religion or politics as these have been hi jacked by the power crazy mandarins around the world.

Do my question is What would it take the human race to achieve this, there is a lot of evidence that we cannot achieve it going on at the moment in the world. I disagree; If we are open hearted there is the opportunity with social media to break down all borders and spread this message world wide. If you like it join our quest to have love be the prominent ethos throughout the world. Here is the link: www:Facebook.com/Darebininterculturalcentre, get on board, we are getting far to close to midnight as a race.
